Dr. Hilary Giason

Dr. Hilary, originally from Northern Ireland, completed her dental degree in 2008 in England and moved to Canberra in 2009. Hilary undertakes all aspects of general dentistry, including the provision of mandibular advancement splints for the management of sleep apnoea, and is loved by her patients for her caring and compassionate manner. With 15 years of experience, she particularly enjoys seeing young families and managing nervous patients. Having two children of her own, outside of dentistry, Hilary loves spending time with her family and keeping fit.

Dr. Joseph Tidimane

Joseph Tidimane graduated with the Honours Degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery at University College Cork - National University of Ireland, Cork, a constituent university of National University of Ireland - on the 16th June 2005. He was awarded the Pierre Fauchard Academy Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Academic Achievements in Dentistry - National University of Ireland. Joseph has worked in Botswana (Private Practice), and migrated to Australia in December 2006 working for Queensland Health at Mackay, then Toowoomba after which he settled at the Granite Belt (Stanthorpe) as a senior dentist for QLD Health and also working part-time privately. In 2011 he moved to Canberra and has been working in private practice since. In 2014 completed a One Year Master Clinician certificate program in Implant Dentistry through the Loma Linda University / gIDE institute in California in 2014, and in 2015/2016 completed a second certificate program through Melbourne University - The Principles of Surgical Implant Dentistry. In May 2017, Dr. Tidimane completed a Sydney University Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants). Away from dentistry Joseph enjoys time with his wife Thato and their two daughters and son, as well as turning his hands to some basic carpentry work.

Dr. Kate Cooper

Kate is a caring and compassionate dentist who enjoys providing high quality, gentle dentistry. Having a relaxed and calming demeanour, Kate is able to make her patients feel comfortable and confident, providing individualized dental care. Following the completion of a Bachelor of Science at the Australian National University in 2012 and two years working at CSIRO, Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from Charles Sturt University in 2019. Kate was also awarded the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence in 2017. Having grown up in Canberra, Kate was happy to return to practice dentistry in Canberra and service the local community. Kate is passionate about all aspects of general dentistry with particular interest in restorative dentistry, root canal therapy and children's dentistry. Kate is committed to continued professional development to provide the highest quality of treatment to each of her patients.

Dr. Thato Entaile

Thato graduated with the Honours Degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery at University College Cork - National University of Ireland, Cork, a constituent university of National University of Ireland - on the 16th June 2005. She worked in Botswana in the public service until December 2007. She continued on to service the Granite Belt under Queensland health. She later moved into private practice in January 2009 in Stanthorpe QLD until March 2011 when the family relocated to Canberra, where she continued in private practice. Thato's passion in dentistry stems from the challenges it creates, and the satisfaction of providing excellent dental care. Her aim is to listen to you and formulate an individualized treatment plan as well as completing the dental work needed to restore your mouth to optimum health. Thato has a lot of interest in all aspects of general dentistry, especially cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy and working with children. She continues to attend continued professional development courses in clinical dentistry to expand her skills, and keep up to date with advances in dentistry.

Ellen Thomas OHT

Elle is a kind and empathetic person, translating into a warm and calm chair-side manner. This allows Elle to work with an array of patients of different ages and requirements, including young children and patients with special needs. After many years working as a dental assistant, Elle commenced a Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy and Hygiene), graduating with distinction in 2021. Elle was included in the Executive Dean's List for Academic Excellence across each year of her degree and attributed this to her love for structure and list-making. Within the dental office, Elle's primary focuses are preventing and treating periodontal disease, assisting orthodontic cases and restorative dentistry. She is passionate about all things oral health and has a keen interest in guided biofilm therapy. Elle strives for all her patients to feel comfortable within her care whilst helping them work towards optimal oral health.
