Abbey qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist from the University of Sheffield with Distinction and has been a Dental Care Professional since 2010. After qualifying in 2013, she then went on to achieve certificates in Oral Health Education and Dental Sedation Nursing.
She enjoys treating patients with the latest Airflow® and Perioflow® technology to provide effective and gentle cleaning without the discomfort associated with traditional professional cleaning. Her training as a therapist also enables her to provide dental fillings.
Abbey has undertaken voluntary dental missions to Cambodia in 2014 and 2016 with the charity Dentaid where - as part of a team of dental professionals from the UK - she provided much-needed treatment and education to vulnerable children and adults from deprived populations who had mostly never seen a dental professional before and suffered from dental
disease and pain. During her time in Cambodia, she also gave international lectures at the University of Puthisastra to their dental students.
Abbey enjoys spending her free time with her three pugs and going to music concerts.

Excellence in any job comes from having a real desire and passion for the work, and this is something that Duncan has in abundance. This, combined with superb clinical standards, results in the best possible treatment for all his patients.
Duncan qualified from Sheffield University in 2003 with honours and the prize in restorative dentistry. His surgical skills were further developed by holding SHO and staff grade posts in hospitals including Sheffield, Barnsley and Chesterfield.
One of Duncan's main interests is implant dentistry. Having completed implant training courses in Sheffield in 2007, he followed this up with the extensive post-graduate implant master's degree at Sheffield University, so he is highly trained and experienced in implant treatment.
Updating knowledge is vital to keep on top of an evolving and ever developing profession, so Duncan attends regular courses and conferences, as well as being a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI).
Duncan accepts referrals from other dental practices for implant treatment, surgical work (e.g. difficult extractions and wisdom teeth), CT scans and IV sedation - types of treatment that would have traditionally been referred to a hospital. This in-house option can dramatically cut down on waiting times and the inconvenience of a hospital visit.
Due to his vast experience in implant dentistry, Duncan also dedicates time to mentoring and teaching qualified dentists how to place implants on the masters course at the Institute for Clinical Excellence (ICE) Dental Hospital in Manchester and at practices around the region.
Most of Duncan's spare time is taken up with his wife and four children, as well as walking his two hyperactive boxer dogs! He had to retire from playing rugby due to an injury but is now an enthusiastic spectator of the game.
Joby is originally from Doncaster and now lives in Chesterfield with his wife and cat. He graduated from Newcastle University in 2015 with Honours and a prize for the best overall performance in the year for his final exams.
Joby enjoys performing general dentistry to a high standard, taking pride in his work. He especially enjoys treating dentally nervous patients, getting satisfaction from putting them at ease and completing their treatment in a relaxed manner. He has a particular interest in root canal treatment and is currently in the process of completing a Masters in this field, enabling him to complete more complex root canal treatments on patients.
Joby is committed to continued learning and is a regular attender at a local study club allowing him to keep up to date with current dental issues and technology.
When not at work, Joby enjoys detailing cars and is an avid gym user. He and his wife are expecting their first child later this year.

high standard. One of Joby's main interests is in root canal treatments and has recently completed
his master's degree in this field which will enable him to take referrals for complex root canal
Lucy has worked in accounts for ten years and her last role was within the legal sector. Although Lucy is mainly office-based, you will also see her in the practice as she offers invaluable support to the Practice Manager.
Lucy has four children who keep her very busy, but when she does have some spare time, she enjoys gardening and is a very keen cook. Lucy enjoys going to the theatre and spending time with her friends and family.
Matthew is the newest dentist to be welcomed into our practice and is bringing with him a compassionate, professional and holistic attitude towards your dental care.With the smile and skills to make any patient feel at ease, Matthew has the ability to understand your concerns and offer a wide range of restorative and cosmetic treatments with an ethical and detailed approach. Matthew is always passionate about the dentistry he offers and has a dedicated and friendly demeanour towards all his patients whatever their age or background.
Having received a first class undergraduate degree prior to graduating with Honours in Dentistry, Matthew has shown to be an avid learner and is keen to increase his knowledge and skill set further by completing a range of advanced courses. To highlight this, Matthew has recently completed a course in anterior alignment orthodontics and is qualified to deliver Invisalign treatments.
In his spare time Matthew enjoys keeping up to date with dental journals, reading novels and spending quality time with his girlfriend, family and friends. He also has achieved a 1st Dan black belt in Shotokan Karate and enjoys baking up the odd sweet treat!
Matthew received a first-class undergraduate degree in Bio Medical Science prior to graduating with Honors in Dentistry from DMU University Leicester.
Joining us in 2018, Matthew brings to the practice a compassionate, professional and holistic approach to your dental care. From qualifying, Matthew had an interest in the field of cosmetic dentistry. Recognising his own excellent eye for detail, he has proceeded to complete an advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Restorative Dentistry. As part of his cosmetic treatments, Matthew is a Platinum Provider of Invisalign and often combines this with teeth whitening and cosmetic composite bonding.
Matthew is passionate about dentistry and is an avid learner. He is continually increasing his knowledge and skillset further and is a regular attendee at dental study clubs which focus on new technology and performance within the industry. As part of this Matthew is currently completing an additional Post Graduate Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy which allows him to carry out more complex Invisalign ® cases and to a higher standard than previously offered.
When not at work, Matthew enjoys reading and spending time with his wife, family and friends. He is a 1st Dan black belt in Shotokan Karate and enjoys baking sweet treats.
Rachel is an absolute asset to Green Square Dental and Implant Centre. She started working at the practice as a Senior Dental Nurse in 2016 when Green Square Dental was first established. She now holds the position of Treatment Co-ordinator, a role that includes a variety of tasks including carrying out consultations for the treatments we offer.
Rachel has been working in dentistry for 9 years and has worked closely with dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics including Invisalign.
She is always on a quest to further her dental knowledge and has extended this by gaining various qualifications including Dental Radiography and Intravenous Sedation.
As well as being very sociable, Rachel enjoys travelling and spending time with her friends and family.
Having qualified as a dental nurse in 2012. Rachel is highly experienced in general dentistry, orthodontics and surgical nursing and went on to complete her Radiology. Rachel joined us in 2016 on opening the practice, as a Senior Dental Nurse and subsequently went on to qualify in Oral Health and Intravenous Sedation. In 2019, with Rachel's wealth of qualifications, dental knowledge, and her experience in implant surgery, she became our Treatment Coordinator. This is a role that includes patient consultations and coordination and sees' Rachel collaborating closely with Dentists, to ensure patients are well-informed of the treatment process, dates, and costings.

Rhianna studied at the University of Sheffield, alongside dentistry she has also completed an additional degree in BioMedical sciences with a focus on public health; her research centred around full dentures and prosthetic rehabilitation, and the positive impact this can have on a patient's quality of life. This passion for treatment plans that include a denture element has continued into Rhianna's postgraduate career, and she enjoys problem solving complex denture cases.
After completing foundation training in 2014 in Sheffield (Crosspool), Rhianna founded a post graduate study club that is still running, and meets in Sheffield monthly. As part of this Rhianna organises speakers, lectures, and practical sessions for delegates that range from the newly qualified to consultant level. Continued professional development and education is a top priority, and she finds it important to be engaged in order to stay on top of new healthcare technologies and developments. This allows Rhianna to provide the most up to date care options for her patients.
In her spare time Rhianna is also the chairperson for an educational charity The Tubules Foundation: founded by dentists, the foundation has helped build and equip a full library for a school and community in Voi, Kenya, completing this month! They will be expanding their mission of ‘education to the world' by funding and building similar sites in 3rd world countries.
