Aaron is a Business Development Manager at Fairer Finance and joined in February 2024.
Andrew founded Fairer Finance with James in 2014. He has over 25 years of experience as a risk manager, think-tank director, consultant and journalist. Among his activities, Andrew runs The Finance Foundation, a not-for-profit think tank. Since 2012 he has been a Risk Fellow at the Centre for Risk Studies, part of the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge.
Prior to setting up Fairer Finance, Andrew enjoyed spells at Deloitte and McKinsey, where he was a founding member of the firm's Global Risk practice.
Andrew started his career in journalism, working on the Lex column at the Financial Times before going on to spend 14 years at The Economist.
Andrew lives with his family in Cambridge. He is also a Governor of St Mary's School, Cambridge.
Anjali is a Senior consultant at Fairer Finance. Before joining in 2021, she graduated from the University of York with a BA in English Language and Linguistics. Alongside her work, she tutors primary school children in English. In her free time, Anjali enjoys reading, baking, and going for long walks.
Archita works as a Business Analyst in Fairer Finance's Delhi team. She is a postgraduate with specialisation in financial markets and has seven years of experience in banking, financial services, consulting, and teaching. She has been a university level Assistant Professor of Finance and pursues her passion for teaching as a freelance finance tutor.

Billy is the deputy coach and content creator for a local men's weight loss league, and plays drums in a South Wales based band.
Oliver is Fairer Finance's Head of Research.
Prior to joining the business in 2021, Oliver completed his PhD in History at the University of Cambridge. He has taught History at Cambridge, King's College London and the London School of Economics. In 2019-20, he was a visiting fellow at the International Institute for Asian Studies in Leiden. Besides his academic experience, he has worked as an administrator at Capital City College Group.
In his spare time, Oliver enjoys long-distance running, cryptic crosswords and Indonesian literature.
Eve is a Consultancy Manager at Fairer Finance, leading the company's work on Consumer Duty. Before joining in 2021, she graduated from the University of Bristol with a BA in French and Russian. During her degree, she worked in a tech start-up in Paris, and spent six months studying in Tomsk, Siberia. Outside of work, Eve enjoys cooking and singing in a choir.

George Johnston is Head of business development at Fairer Finance. He helps grow new and existing commercial relationships. George has worked predominantly within business development within the insurance industry, as well as working for the consumer group Which? within their endorsement team. He Joined the Fairer Finance team in June 2021.
George enjoys travel, having spent time exploring India, Singapore, America, and Australia. George also enjoys going to the gym and socialising with friends.
Harry is a senior researcher at Fairer Finance. As part of the research team, he is responsible for keeping the product ratings up to date, primarily focusing on our ratings for investment platforms. Harry graduated with a BA in Accounting & Finance from Middlesex University before joining Fairer Finance.
Helen's career has been spent championing consumers' interests, first in executive roles and now as a non-executive.
She was a member of the senior leadership team of Which? for more than a decade. As Editorial Director she was responsible for Which?'s independent information and advice, and its comparative ratings. She also served as Policy Director and finally Deputy CEO.
Helen now has a number of non-executive roles with a focus on consumer protection and empowerment. These roles include being Deputy Chair of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, which protects consumers when financial services companies fail, and a member of Aegon's Independent Governance Committee, whose role is to challenge the company on the quality and value for money offered to its two million workplace pension customers.
Iwan is a senior researcher at Fairer Finance. He holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Nottingham and previously worked as a journalist.
In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey and writing.

- Consumer Campaigner and Financial Journalist
James Daley has been a consumer campaigner and financial journalist for over 20 years. Before launching Fairer Finance in 2014, he worked for the consumer group, Which?, where he campaigned for a better deal for customers of banks and insurers in the wake of the financial crisis.
James is frequently interviewed on national television and radio, and has regularly appeared on shows such as Watchdog, Rip-off Britain, Dispatches and Moneybox.
Before working at Which?, James spent 10 years as a business and finance newspaper journalist, latterly as the The Independent's personal finance editor and cycling columnist.
He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute's professional standards committee, and an a member of the Association of British Insurers' Consumer Advisory Group.
He lives with his wife and two children in Tooting, where he's also Chair of Governors at Smallwood Primary School.
Joshua is a researcher at Fairer Finance. He graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA in History and studied for his MA in Law with the University of Law. Prior to joining Fairer Finance he worked in client services, operations and with The Challenge charity.
Manjula is working as Business Analyst in Fairer Finance's Delhi team. Before working for Fairer Finance, she completed her MBA in Finance and was associated with the banking sector in India. Apart from work, you can find her baking some cookies for her home baking business - One Last Dessert.
Millie is a researcher at Fairer Finance. She graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a BA in Law. In her free time she volunteers at a local foodbank charity. She enjoys chess and creative hobbies, including knitting and pottery.
Nikita works as a Team Lead for Fairer Finance's team in Delhi. Coming from a financial background, she graduated in Economics Honours from Delhi University, after which she pursued a course in Stock Market Trading. Her prior work associations have been with ABN AMRO (US) and Mercer (Australia) as a Business Analyst.
Nikita enjoys music, gardening and social work in her spare time.
Oliver is a Consultant at Fairer Finance. Before joining in 2023, he graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BA in Political Science + International Relations. Outside of work, he spends his time studying combat sports and trying to keep up with his ever-growing reading list.
Rich is the Head of Consultancy at Fairer Finance, and has been with the company since 2016. He brings experience of financial institutions, having previously worked in the corporate arm of a large bank. He also has an MSc in Evolutionary Psychology from Brunel University.
Rich is passionate about music, football and food. His heroes are John Lennon and Thierry Henry.
Rob is a senior researcher at Fairer Finance. Rob graduated with a MA in Cultural Geography from Royal Holloway and has worked in market research, administration, and most recently as a supporter care advisor for Diabetes UK.
Rob enjoys reading, playing tennis, and film.

Ruth is the Head of Fairer Finance Scotland, which launched in September 2017.
She is an experienced consultant who has advised major firms in the insurance and technology sectors on product design and communications. She has designed life and health insurance products, helping companies adapt to their customers needs.
Writing the terms and conditions in financial services has featured at many points in Ruth's career. From the early days, she believed helping the reader to understand is even more important than crossing the legal t's and dotting the compliance i's. Her law degree allowed her to take more conservative colleagues some way on this journey. There's no surprise then that she has joined Fairer Finance's team to do more of this for financial services companies in Scotland and beyond.

Siwani is a Business Analyst in Fairer Finance's Delhi team. She is an MBA with a specialisation in Finance and Marketing. Before that she graduated in Finance from Banaras Hindu University and is also a Law degree holder. She has worked as an Analyst at the Ministry of Defense and some other corporate offices. Her hobbies include travelling, reading and writing.
Sophie is a Consultant at Fairer Finance. She read English Literature at the University of Cambridge, and went on to work in policy and political research and the charity sector before she joined in 2022. Outside of work, she enjoys theatre, long walks, and reading - including both books and disappearing down Wikipedia research rabbit holes.
Sorcha is a consultant at Fairer Finance. Before joining in 2022, she graduated from Leiden University with an MA in International Relations. She also holds an MSc in Social and Cultural Anthropology from University College London. She has previously worked for two NGOs specialising in refugee rights.
In her spare time she enjoys reading and contributes freelance articles to Human Rights Pulse website.
Swati joined Fairer Finance team in February 2023 as a Researcher/Business Analyst. She has a postgraduate degree in Economics and a BA in Business Economics from Delhi University. In her prior experience, she worked as a political and market researcher across several organisations in the research sector. She loves to travel and is a fitness freak. In her free time, she likes to learn about new things.
Tim Hogg is a behavioural economist with 10 years experience in advising both the public and private sectors on how to design and implement regulation. Tim specialises in assessing the Consumer Duty implications arising from business models, product design, pricing, and customer communications.
Tim has advised firms across financial services on the fair value of their products, including: general & life insurance; investments & pensions; current & savings accounts; mortgages; consumer credit; and funeral plans. He focusses on quantifying consumer outcomes and providing the consumer perspective.
He is an experienced trainer on behavioural science, and designs behavioural experiments and surveys. Tim won the International Institute of Communications 2018 Future Leaders Competition and has testified to the European Commission in a competition law context.
Tim lives in North London, where he spends as much of his time as he can playing football, frisbee, and any other sport he can get his hands on.
Yasmin is a Consultant at Fairer Finance. She studied English Literature at Durham University and worked in administration before joining the FF consultancy team in January 2023. In her spare time she enjoys reading, listening to podcasts and walking in the countryside.
