Initially David provided mortgage and protection advice and now supports our Financial Planning team to help deliver a comprehensive client service.

Qualified and experienced in later life lending, Emma is able to assist clients considering lifetime mortgages and equity release.

As Practice Manager Fran oversees the compliance, service delivery and business development for Blackdown Financial.
Fran has over 25 years' experience in the service sector, including managing and developing the operational service functions for both corporate and entrepreneurial businesses.

Neil, Managing Director of Blackdown Financial, joined the firm in 2001 and is a Chartered & Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Wealth Manager.
Neil provides level headed expertise to help his clients achieve and maintain their desired lifestyles without fear of running out of money or passing away with too much. He specialises in providing advice to those approaching and during retirement together with financial planning matters around divorce.
Neil has been featured in the Mail on Sunday here and here , FT Adviser, New Model Adviser, ETF magazine, a case study on advice on the Old Mutual website ,writes a monthly financial column for Society magazine and was listed in the Sunday Times - Top 250 UK IFAs. Away from work Neil is married with two daughters, enjoys cycling and is a past Chairman of Taunton Round Table.
