Dr Adam Hall

Dr Adam Hall is a highly qualified Specialist General Practitioner, Medical Educator and Fellowship Examiner with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Adam Hall has a special interest in skin cancer medicine and brings a wealth of experience in skin cancer detection, treatment and prevention. Dr Hall studied medicine at Edinburgh University in Scotland and worked as a doctor in Scotland before moving to Australia in 2009. He gained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015 and has worked as an examiner for the college for the past two years. Dr Hall also works part time for James Cook University as a Medical Educator, responsible for the training of doctors pursuing a career in General Practice across the Sunshine Coast region. Dr Hall has recently relocated back to the Sunshine Coast with his wife and three children. He is a friendly and professional doctor committed to achieving the best possible results for his patients. He is available to perform full skin checks, biopsies and excisions. A referral is not necessary to see Dr Hall, but a referral from your regular GP is encouraged, especially if you have a complex medical history. This provides information that may be relevant to treating your condition and allows us to better communicate back to your regular GP.

Dr Christina Sander

Dr Christina Sander has been in private dermatology practice in Maroochydore on Queensland's Sunshine Coast since early 2011. Like all Queensland Dermatologists, Dr. Sander specialises in skin cancer detection, treatment and prevention. The early diagnosis and treatment of melanoma is an area of particular interest and expertise. In addition, Dr. Christina Sander has a special interest in: paediatric/children's skin conditions, acne, women's health dermatology - vulval diseases, cosmetic dermatology and laser treatments, phototherapy for psoriasis, as well as eczema and treatment with Biologics for severe psoriasis. From 2009-2011, Dr. Christina Sander was the only Dermatologist in Victoria's Goulburn Valley serving a rural population of around 160,000. She was an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Melbourne. Dr Christina Sander was admitted as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2010. Between 2006 & 2009 she worked as Consultant Dermatologist at Tawam Hospital / Johns Hopkins International in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. She became a Dermatologist after completing her Specialist training in Jena, Germany and in Oxford, UK in 2005. In 2003, she was awarded the prestigious research award "Paul Gerson Unna Prize" for her scientific contribution to the understanding of sun-induced aging of the skin. Her active academic career in Germany, in the UK and in the UAE has led to a significant number of original and review publications in leading scientific journals.

Dr Jonathan Harper

Dr Jon Harper is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor (ASCD) having completed post-graduate training through the Skin Cancer College Australasia. He has completed training in advanced skin cancer surgery and dermoscopy. Dr Harper did his medical training in the UK, graduating from Nottingham University Medical School and completing his postgraduate training as a general practitioner in London. He migrated to Australia's beautiful Sunshine Coast in 2008. He has many years of experience performing skin checks and skin cancer surgery, initially in general practice and then as a dedicated skin cancer doctor. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Jon Harper has a passion for medical education and works part-time as local clinical lead for HealthPathways, an educational website for health professionals. When he's not working, Dr Jon Harper enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is also a keen cyclist and will often be seen riding up and down the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland. Dr Paul Stevenson

Dr Paul Stevenson is a skin-specialised GP, trained in Queensland. He welcomes all new patients for skin cancer checks and general dermatology conditions (including acne, rashes, hair loss and nail conditions). Dr Stevenson is passionate about providing the highest quality patient-centred care in skin disease. He recognises the importance of taking time to explain diagnosis and treatment, using language that you as the patient understand.
