With the addition of the Copper Mountain Mine, Hudbay has become the third-largest copper producer in Canada. The Copper Mountain Mine, located south of Princeton, British Columbia, is a conventional open pit, truck and shovel operation. Hudbay owns 75% of the Copper Mountain Mine, with the remainder owned by Mitsubishi Materials Corporation.
