Our mission is to promote cardiovascular health in children, advance understanding of cardiovascular disease, and develop robust, translatable technologies to better assess risk, plan intervention and track therapeutic progress... We are part of the Heart Research group within the Murdoch Childrens Research Insitute, the largest child health research organisation in Australia and one of the leading paediatric research institutes internationally. The Heart Research group is highly multidisciplinary and contains Paediatric Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Experimental Physiology, Cellular Biology and Cardiovascular Bioengineering teams. Our highly collaborative approach, world class facilities and clinical environment creates a strong interface between basic and clinical science.
