Nick and Mary Martin moved their business and home from Sevenoaks in Kent to the rural quiet of the Lincolnshire Fens in 1989, where the businesses operate from the workshops in the grounds of their farm cottage. Nick served a traditional apprenticeship making early keyboard instruments, and gained qualifications in this field whilst attending the much respected London College of Furniture.
