Exactly two years and three days after his arrival into the US he became a part owner of Toscana Trattoria. Three years later, he became the only owner of Toscana Trattoria and trasformed the place into Benito's Trattoria in Chester, NJ which remains with same name to this day and was a very successful restaurant in his prime time (he is no longer the owner now). Also on his resume, Benito owned Ponte Vecchio in the Best Western Hotel in New Providence and managed several other places in the region.
