KC AVIATION STEM

The TriStar Experience was founded by Kerry Floyd and Mike Saxton. They saw a serviceable aircraft being scrapped, and an idea was born. There was a shortage of Pilot/STEM programs within the field of aviation, and they wanted the TriStar Experience to fill that gap. The plane that started it all is now a STEM classroom where students can experience an immersive learning opportunity in which they will experience aerodynamic science and the thrill of flight... KC Aviation STEM uses ground-based aircraft for educational and experiential programs to inspire students in STEM fields of study, as well as to pursue aviation and aerospace related careers. Our mission is to provide future STEM leaders a real-world place to explore the world of flight, force and motion, weather, aviation careers, and achieve more than they thought possible through a wide-range of high energy and engaging activities.
