Rakesh founded Mount Abu Capital in March 2014. In addition to his day to day trading and origination duties, he oversees the overall business development of the firm covering sourcing, analysis, structuring and placement of dealflow. Previously, he spent nearly four years at Citigroup in their Global Special Situations Group (GSSG) and two years at Barclays Capital in their Leveraged Loans team.
He has a degree in Law from University of Sheffield and has passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
His outside interests include playing tennis, rowing, travelling and reading.
