Arcus ('ARCUS') is a high resolution X-ray grating spectrometer mission that was proposed to NASA as a MIDEX in 2016 and selected by NASA for a Phase A concept study. This is the home page for the Arcus ('ARCUS') team and its main purpose is to disseminate information about the mission to the science community and the public at large. It is updated when newsworthy events happen, such as when the publication or poster list changes, or when new Arcus ('ARCUS') response files are available. Please note that the name of the mission refers to the goddess of rainbows, and is not an acronym. As such, 'Arcus' is the correct spelling, not 'ARCUS'.
