Joey-Ann Alexander

Joey-Ann Alexander is a board certified nurse practitioner with dual certification in both family medicine and psychiatry. She obtained her Masters degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University and her psychiatric certification from the University of Miami. She has over 14 years of experience in healthcare. Joey-Ann has worked extensively with a variety of patients in practices that integrate behavioral health and primary care services. She was coauthor of an article published in the Journal of Integrated Care which examined the effectiveness of an integrated care program on decreasing emergency department utilization within a sample of patients with both chronic medical and psychiatric illnesses. She prides herself in establishing therapeutic patient relationships, patient health advocacy and providing quality, whole person care. As an established nurse practitioner, she continues her journey through healthcare as a collaborative member of a community of professionals at Carma Health with a desire to help restore patients to optimal mind and body wellness. In her free time, Joey-Ann enjoys yoga, traveling and spending time with family. Rochell Boyd

Rochelle Boyd hails from the beautiful island of Jamaica and is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who holds dual certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has over 14 years' experience in the healthcare industry. 

Rochelle Boyd

Rochelle Boyd is devoted to carry out and encourage total wellness, encouraging her patients in the scope of physical and mental health. She currently practices in psychiatry, treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, PTSD, sleep disorders, as well as ADHD.   She prides herself in patient health advocacy while developing continuing, therapeutic patient relationship and providing care with the best treatments available. She considers herself a great listener who enjoys engaging with people of different backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life. As a clinician, she continues to promote mental health, including resolutely making efforts to help lessen the stigma of mental illness and empower individuals struggling with mental illness.  She stands by her mantra, that is meeting people where they are and helping them to develop and discover the tools needed to get to where they desire to be. Rochelle enjoys spending her free time reading, traveling, and trying different foods.
