I'm Dhara Pitroda, a product designer [originally from Toronto] building kid-friendly experiences for Amazon Kids in Seattle, WA. I'm passionate about research, creativity and driving business impact. I have over 5+ years of experience designing for various platforms, but majority including entertainment services... I'm a firm believer in keeping it simple and that design is about problem solving and building useful experiences for people. In 2018, I completed my undergrad in Global Business and Digital Arts at the University of Waterloo... I'm currently working as a UX Designer at Bell Media, helping them improve the experience of their streaming platforms (primary on Crave). I tend to use any client's products from end to end and then research user problems. Designing for a streaming platform means device-scalability. I've designed on almost every device, from mobile apps to 10-ft devices such as smart TV's.
