Is an Architecture & Design office based in San Francisco. With the belief that environments change the way we interact with each other, express ourselves and live, the studio works closely with clients in a collaborative design process to explore possibilities unique to each project. We work through a diverse set of design tools including physical models, 3D visualizations, hand sketches, technical drawings, sustainability testing, full scale mock-ups, samples, references, trips and shared experiences, all with a constant openness for new ideas. Our work ranges from larger scale multi-unit buildings, a community center, museum, ground-up homes and landscapes, down to additions, interiors, retail spaces, development of physical branding languages, custom furniture, public art and design objects, while at any project size there is always a sensitivity to contextual atmosphere and the human scale.
