Avery F. Dawkins, Esq. is an Attorney with the Heskin Martinez Law Group and focuses her practice on family law. She is trained in the Collaborative Law Model, and strongly believes that parties and their children benefit immensely when settlements can be reached without court intervention.
Avery received her Bachelor of Science degree cum laude from the University of Florida in 2010. She graduated with her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, Charlottesville, Virginia in 2013.
Becki Mastin was born and raised in Orlando and knows what Orlando was like before Disney. She began working in the legal field at the tender age of 22 for a large, local insurance defense firm. She started working with Keersten in 2016, where she was first introduced to family law. With Keersten's mentoring and Becki's desire to help people and love of the law, Becki worked her way from receptionist to legal assistant.
As the team prepares for litigation and eventually trial, it is Becki's job to prepare exhibit binders, trial binders, and mediation binders. She also handles organizing all discovery. However, truly the most enjoyable part of her job is communicating with the clients. Answering questions or just having a sympathetic ear gives her a great sense of fulfillment. Becki is the proud mother of four amazing adult children and nine grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys the beach and spending time with her husband and family.
Cassey Cruz is an Orlando native who joined the firm as a paralegal in 2020. She has over 14 years of experience working in the family law field. Cassey graduated from Valencia College's ABA-approved Paralegal Studies Program with her Associate in Science Degree in 2009. Her extensive experience, organization, diligence, and care are constant with each case she approaches and handles. During her off time, Cassey enjoys spending her time making memorable moments with her son and family.
Gabrielle L. Feulner, Esq. is an Attorney with the Heskin Martinez Law Group.
In 2022, Gabrielle received her law degree from the American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Gabrielle obtained both her Bachelor's degree and her Master's in Business Administration from Rollins College.
While in law school, Gabrielle worked as a Law Clerk at Cottrell Fletcher & Cottrell PC, a family law practice located in Alexandria, Virginia experienced in appellate litigation before the Court of Appeals of Virginia and the Supreme Court of Virginia. She also clerked for an administrative judge and interned at a federal government agency.
Prior to attending law school, Gabrielle helped develop and support students and entrepreneurs as the Assistant Director of the Center for Advanced Entrepreneurship at Rollins College, Crummer Graduate School of Business.
Her passion for family law was inspired by her father who operated a family law firm in Central Florida for over 20 years dedicated to helping fathers establish their parental rights after becoming a single father at a young age.
Keersten Heskin Martinez, Esq. is an Attorney with over twenty years of experience helping families in all aspects of family law cases. Keersten is one of the few attorneys in the Orlando area who is Board Certified in Marital and Family Law. She specializes in Family Law including dissolution of marriage, custody proceedings, child support, paternity and modification proceedings.

Misty M. McGlothern is the Firm Administrator for the Heskin Martinez Law Group. Misty is also a Florida Registered Paralegal with over 18 years of experience as a family law paralegal. As a Houston, Texas native, Misty relocated to Central Florida in 2001 as a single mother and began her career as a family law paralegal. As a mother of three children, she has firsthand knowledge of co-parenting and time-sharing schedules' ups and downs. She has devoted her career to helping others through divorce and family law's complicated and emotional process.
Misty received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2012.
Samantha Sauer, Esq. is an Attorney with Heskin Martinez Law Group. She focuses her practice on Family Law cases including dissolution of marriage, child support, timesharing, alimony, modifications, and paternity actions as well as probate, contracts, and civil litigation.
In 2016, she graduated with her law degree from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law with a certificate in Family Law. Samantha obtained a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies with a minor in Political Science at the University of Central Florida where she not only interned at numerous law offices but also mentored middle school children all while supporting herself through school.
Shannon Purcell was born and raised in the central Florida area. She graduated from Seminole State College with her Associate in Science degree in the ABA-approved legal assistant/paralegal program. She has two adult children and one grandchild. In her spare time, she enjoys the beach, country concerts, art festivals, and spending time with family and friends.

Shelley Hackett is a Central Florida Registered Paralegal with the Heskin Martinez Law Group. She obtained her A.S degree in Paralegal Studies from Valencia Community College in 1984 and has been working in the legal field for over 37 years. She has extensive experience in the insurance defense; however, has spent the last 11 years in the family law field which she very much enjoys.
In her spare time, she loves traveling in Europe, being with her grandchildren, playing tennis, yoga, and quilting.
