Dr. Afshin Ganjian is proud to serve the podiatric needs of Queens from the Medex Diagnostic and Treatment Center offices in Forest Hills. Dr. Ganjian is a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine who is devoted to his patients' wellbeing. He is pleased to conduct appointments in English and Russian.
Dr. Gimpelevich was born and raised in Kharkov, Ukraine. Not one to shy away from an academic challenge, he obtained his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Columbia University in 1997. After working for 2 years doing research for Mt. Sinai/ Columbia University Hospital, Dr. Gimpelevich went on to earn his doctorate in Osteopathy from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. After 1 year of residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, Dr. Gimpelevich completed his residency in physical medicine & rehabilitation from Long Island Jewish Hospital on Long Island.

Dr. Victor Katz is an experienced orthopedic surgeon. He is a part of Medex Diagnostic and Treatment Center, where he is proficient in managing a wide array of medical concerns. He is fluent in English and Russian, which makes him accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
Dr. Katz received his medical degree from the State University of New York, Stony Brook. He then completed an internship and residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Additionally, he completed another internship in general surgery at Cabrini Medical Center, followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery at Saint Vincent's Catholic Medical Centers.
Dr. Katz advanced his clinical expertise by completing a fellowship in spine surgery at Seton Medical Center. He also holds certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. A well-lettered individual, he willingly answers all patient concerns and offers valuable advice that empowers them to make the right decision.
