Hello, I'm Miss Jarvis and I started at Park Primary as the School Business Manager in January 2022. My role is to make sure that the school money is spent wisely so that we can do really exciting projects like the Hobbit House and the ActivAll Boards. Outside of work I am quite creative; I enjoy drawing, painting and calligraphy. I also like to relax with a cup of tea and a good book.
Hello, my name is Miss Moore and I am privileged to say that I have worked at Park Primary School for over ten years. We are a fantastic team with many interests and passions that we share with the children. Whilst I have led a variety of different subject areas, I am delighted to say that I oversee the work and activities which take place at our fantastic forest school. In this environment, I take great pleasure in observing the children develop their problem solving skills, working collaboratively and ‘thinking outside the box.' Outside of work, I love to walk through our beautiful countryside with my trusty companion- Archie the Labrador. In the warmer months, I also like to venture up to the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales for a spot of camping and paddle boarding.

My name is Miss Reyner and I have worked at Park Primary since 2013. I am the EYFS/KS1 Assistant Head Teacher and have worked in EYFS, Year One and Year Two. I love how different each day is at Park and I am passionate about all of the subjects that I teach. As Phonics Leader, it is amazing to see the progress of children from the early reading stage to developing into fluent readers. I endeavour to make learning enjoyable and accessible for all. When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family and having lots of days out with my little girl and boy.

My name is Miss Ellis, I am currently a TA in year 6 and completing my TA3 qualification. I really enjoy working at Park and getting Involved in lots of different activities. Outside of school I enjoy going to the gym, walks and spending time with my children.
Hello, my name is Mrs Whitaker I have been working at Park since 2014, working in both key stages. I thoroughly enjoy working as part of the Park Family and have enjoyed all the roles that I have worked in. I am a mother of three grown up children, 2 of which also work in education. Spending time with my family, walking, reading and going on holidays are some of my favourite things to do.

I am Mrs Chatburn and I have worked at Park Primary for 7 years in Reception. I am a qualified TA3. I started my career as a nursery nurse and then when I had my son I moved into primary education, where I have stayed to the present day.
My name is Miss Newman and I am a teacher and P.E lead at Colne Park Primary; I joined the school in 2021. As a teacher, I am very passionate about promoting a love of learning, so children feel inspired to take ownership over their own learning with a confident can-do attitude. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the countryside as well as spending time with my friends and family.

My name is Mr Brown and I am the Assistant Headteacher and SENDCo at our wonderful school. Teaching has always been a significant part of my life, which started at a small village primary in Lancashire. Throughout my career, I have taught across all age ranges, led a variety of subjects and been a staff governor. As a SENDCo, I am committed and driven to providing support for each individual pupil and tenacious in accessing the right help at the right time for those who need it. I am passionate about providing children with the best possible education and I am determined to ensure that no child is left behind. Outside of work, I am passionate about sport and have always been a keen footballer, runner and tennis player. I play five-a-side football and badminton twice a week and help to lead a running club at a school near my home every Monday evening. I am also a proud Burnley Football Club season ticket holder and attend all the home games with my family and friends. At weekends, I love to spend time with my wonderful wife and cockapoo, Blakey.
I'm Mr Aspin and I have been working at this school since 2021. I am the Sports Coach at Park Primary School, which involves doing sports all week every week. This is perfect as this is also my hobby, I try to play as many sports as possible, keeping myself sometimes too busy! Staying fit and keeping my body active is mostly what I do out of school, this includes biking, going to the gym, playing football, hiking, tennis, squash and every other sport you can think of. Living very close to school is great and even attending the school when i was younger makes me happier seeing what great things we are doing for our children. I try to listen to a lot of books whilst I'm doing things, mostly travel and adventure books, with my favourite author at the moment being Bill Bryson.

I have been at Park Primary since 2015 and during that time I've managed to cover a range of year groups including Years 5, 3 and currently Year 6.I am actually a qualified engineer and worked in construction for several years (home and abroad) prior to making to switch over to Primary Education. I have no regrets and absolutely love my job, there's never a day the same which keeps me on my toes and makes life in school interesting. My roles in school include Year 6 class teacher, joint P.E lead and joint English lead. Away from school, my wife and I love to do lots of hiking, I runs up lots of fells and I also like to read lots of novels, especially during the holidays. This may explain why I am both PE and English lead!
Hello, I'm Mr Swarbrick and I've been teaching at Park Primary since 2015. Throughout my career I've taught within all year groups and have a fondness for working within Year 3. I have a great interest and passion for History which is hopefully transferred across to the classes I teach. Outside of school my interests lie with playing cricket, gardening, reading a selection of classic and sci-fi novels and taking my lovely dog on long walks in the countryside.
My name is Mr Thompson and I am the Deputy Headteacher. I also have responsibility to support the Headteacher as a designated safeguarding leader. I have had the pleasure of teaching in this wonderful school since 2014 and, during that time, I have taught right across Key Stage Two, led PE, English and Maths and also been a staff governor. The aspect of teaching, and leadership, I enjoy the most is developing and enabling those within our school community to reach their full potential and realise their ambitions. Outside of school, I like to keep physically active by going to the gym, playing football and walking my two dogs- Poppy and Little Red.
Hello, my name is Mrs Mitchell and I am a teaching assistant within school. I have worked at Park Primary since 2004 and really enjoy my job. I have worked right across school within all year groups. I love seeing how the children progress each year. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family. We love going away and travelling the country with our caravan. Our favourite destination is Skegness, we just love the beach! Alongside this, trials bikes and motorsport play a big part in our family life.
My name is Mrs Sinclair and I have been at Park Primary since 2010. I have enjoyed many years as a Teaching Assistant here but I have just completed my teaching qualification in 2022 and now I am a qualified teacher. In my time away from school, I enjoy being with my son and spending time with other family and friends.
I have been at Park since 1990 ! During that time I have had many different roles in school and taught in both Key Stages. When I am at home I enjoy painting , cooking and going to the gym . I like watching musical theatre and also watching my two boys play football.
Hello my name is Mrs Berry and I have been at Park Primary since 1992. I have mostly worked within EYFS and KS 1 and have recently moved to KS2. In school I lead Art and PSHE as well as helping to run school council. Out of school I enjoy spending time with my family and my little dog called Boo. I enjoy lots of creative crafts in particular I love making miniature model houses .

My name is Leanne Rigby and I am the school's Deputy Safeguarding and Family Liaison Worker. I have been in post here at Park Primary since 2015, but have worked in and around Colne for six years with families. My role in school is to provide support, advice and information to the families within our school community. I can help you with any worries that you may have in relation to your child's education, behaviour and well-being. I am also here as someone to talk to if you need it! I have a son that I enjoy spending time with either at kick-boxing training or out walking our dog.
