RIPE TOMATO PIZZA BAR

Our vision and dream for Ripe Tomato Pizza started in the Spring of 2012, when five local University of Calgary graduates (and avid pizza lovers) wanted to change the quick serve pizza landscape. We knew there had to be a better and healthier alternative to the conventional quick serve pizza - and we found it after some of the owners had traveled to the motherland and origin of pizzas (Naples, Italy). It's hard not to fall in love with Neapolitan pizzas… the simplicity of preparing it using fresh ingredients, cooking with an open flame, and the flavor from each bite - this is what the quick serve pizza landscape didn't have! So after countless hours of developing, training and of course, tasting, we opened our very first store in May 2013 with a splash…. and haven't looked back since.
