USABILITY PARTNERS - Key Persons
Per has extensive experience with UX/usability in a variety of industries, including energy, banking, IT, and entertainment. He is used to working with agile teams and since starting at Usability Partners back in 2006 he has had senior consultant roles in both UX reseach and design. Per has a Masters degree from Uppsala University in Sweden.
Background
Per has been working at Usability Partners since spring 2006. Per has a master's degree in Computer Science from Uppsala University. The main focus of his studies was in the area of human-computer interaction, but he has also studied courses such as user-centred system development and Internet-based systems.
Skills and experience
Per has over 15 years of experience in the UX/usability industry and has both nationally and internationally helped clients evaluate and design interfaces that put the user's needs at the centre. He has a deep understanding of the design process and knows how to create engaging user experiences.
His experience ranges from requirements gathering, evaluation and design of web and software applications, mobile apps, hardware interfaces, internal work systems and intranets, and more. He has conducted extensive user research, moderated focus groups and interviews, and used various design tools to create effective and efficient interface concepts.
Richard has over 25 years experience of practising usability and user-centred design. His consultancy work has always focused on improving products and systems from a user's perspective and he regularly oversees international user research projects. He originally studied at Loughborough University in the UK.
Background
Richard trained at Loughborough University of Technology (UK), completing a four-year Honours degree in Information Technology and Human Factors in 1995. He has worked as a usability engineer at IBM's design centre in Scotland (1993-1994), and as a consultant usability specialist for Nomos Management AB (1995-2001).
In 2001 he founded Usability Partners.
