UK BIM ALLIANCE

Nima (formerly the UK BIM Alliance, established in 2016 - see history) is a not-for-profit virtual organisation. A volunteer-led group, it promotes information management best practices, helping to support digital transformation across the built and managed environment. Nima incorporates bSUKI, the UK and Ireland chapter of buildingSMART International, and - with the British Standards Institution - maintains the UK BIM Framework, the overarching approach to implementing BIM in the UK... At buildingSMART UK & Ireland (bSUKI), we help asset owners and the entire supply chain work more efficiently and collaboratively through the entire project and asset lifecycle, through better interoperability... As a Chapter we are dedicated to ensuring we provide value to the industry; we do this through our Four V's.
