WILLOWBROOK DENTAL - Key Persons
Dr Kam Kalsi graduated from Manchester University in 1999 and went straight in general dental practice in Leicester. He has gained a wealth of experience over the years and then finally moved to Willowbrook Dental Practice in April 2013 as the principle dentist.
Dr Monica Wilson graduated in dentistry from Cardiff University in 1988. Since qualifying she has worked in General dental practice; initially providing general dentistry for adults and children. Monica then went on to do an extra three years of study at Bristol University gaining her diploma of post graduate dental studies (DPOS) IN 2006. This led on to her developing a particular interest in children's dentistry. Over the last twenty years her calm, gentle manner has helped many children have a very positive experience of dentistry. Dr Wilson has also been involved in the development of the Healthy Teeth Happy Smiles initiative which was launched in 2014 by the Leicester City Council and NHS England to improve the oral health of both children and adults in Leicester and reduce tooth decay and other associated health issues. Outside of dentistry Monica loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys learning new things (currently the cello) and keeping fit.
Jas joined the Willowbrook Dental team as Practice Manager in April 2013. It is Jas's role to ensure the practice runs seamlessly and that both staff and patients are happy. Jas is always available to discuss treatments in general and ensures that the patients visit at Willowbrook is always a pleasant one.
Jas and her team work hard to ensure that they provide the best possible customer service and dental care. She ensures her team have a caring ethos at Willowbrook both for the patients and everyone who works within the practice. This has been reflected in ongoing customer satisfaction surveys which are carried out at regular intervals along with feedback comments received at the practice.
Jas regularly updates her continuing professional development in key areas of practice management and regulatory compliance. She ensures all practice policies and procedures are kept up to date in line with current guidelines.
Outside of the practice, she enjoys spending quality time with her lovely children and husband and loves to read non-fiction, particularly personal development books. She also loves to bake in her spare time.

Mr Hitin Wahan qualified as dentist (BDS) from GDC Aurangabad (India) in 2005. Following this he undertook three years full time training in Orthodontics (MDS) from Dr D.Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital Pune India. He completed his International Qualifying Examination in 2008 which allowed him to get registered as dentist in United Kingdom. Hitin is registered as a Specialist Orthodontist with the GDC and has been practising Orthodontics exclusively since July 2014.
Mr Hitin Wahan takes pride in seeing his patients have beautiful and healthy smiles. For adults and children who want a perfect smile, he uses his extensive training and broad experience in treating both adults and children, to give you the smile you deserve.
Outside of orthodontics Hitin enjoys spending quality time with his family and has a passion for cricket.
