Alan started at Rural and Country 9years ago, he started on the tools as a heating and plumbing engineer and decided that it was time for him to put down his tools and come into the office, he now manages and co-ordinates our heating division, you can find Alan here in the office or out on site training our engineers.
Andrew is one of our field assessors based in the East Midlands of the UK. You can find Andrew visiting and guiding our potential clients on their renewable requirements in the Derbyshire, Staffordshire and the surrounding areas.
Andy is our electrical guru, the company decided they needed a dedicated electrical supervisor due to our growth in the commercial sector. Andy brings a vast amount of experience, not to mention his formal qualifications in Solar PV and Commercial electrical installation up to 1Megawatt in size. Since joining the company Andy has completed many recognised solar design courses which he has put into good use on our numerous commercial projects. You can find Andy either in the office or supporting the electricians on site.
Anna is one of our field assessors based in the Cheshire region of the UK. Anna is currently on maternity leave but you can normally find her find visiting and guiding our potential clients on their renewable requirements.
Barry is our senior field assessor and is part of the furniture here at Rural and country. As well as supporting the other assessors with his vast amount of experience and knowledge, Barry enjoys visiting potential clients in the Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire area.
Helen has been here at Rural and Country since the very beginning. Helen oversees our accounts department and manages client and supplier accounts. Helen prides herself in her organisation skills and her kind and friendly approach to work.
Jenny has been at Rural and Country since 2021 and is vital part of day to day life in the office. Jenny is responsible for all admin related duties from client paperwork to ensuring the company's fleet of vehicles stay on the road. If you have rang into the office, the likelihood is, you will be familiar with Jen's voice and warm welcoming.
Jo is our booking administrator, she books and organises the diaries of our five field assessors and two technical surveyors. Jo handles any new customer enquiries and refers them to their local field assessor. With her calm and friendly demine Jo ensures this busy department runs smoothly.
Laurence is one of our field assessors based in the Southern region of the UK. You can find Laurence visiting and guiding our potential clients on their renewable requirements in the Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.

Lee is also a Co-Founder and Director here at Rural and Country. He is our Technical guru and can be found out onsite running commercial projects but also here in the office. Lee started his career in the industry as a plumbing and heating apprentice, he quickly developed a passion for design and contracts management. Lee's passion is to see the team go from strength to strength and is an advocate in training.
Martyn has been at Rural and Country since 2015, he is our technical surveyor and retrofit assessor. Martyn is extremely dedicated to his role and can be found out on site surveying new installations or in the office completing heat loss calculations and assisting the Managers to ensure each installation is carried out to the highest standard.

Mike is a Co-Founder and Director here at Rural and Country, Mike has over 30 years in the Renewable industry and manages our field assessors. Mike can be found in the office submitting planning applications and designs or out on site visiting commercial and agricultural customers. Mikes biggest passion is customer satisfaction, he goes above and beyond to ensure all of our client's questions and expectations are managed.
Pete is one of our field assessors based in the Oswestry. You can find Pete visiting and guiding our potential clients on their renewable requirements in North Wales and the surrounding areas.
Richard has recently joined Rural and Country as we continue to grow our ECO4 and Flex offering. Richard has a strong background in the ECO4 and is a qualified Domestic Energy and Retro Fit Assessor. He also holds a NVQ level 3 in Historic, traditional and listed buildings energy assessment. His goals for this coming year is to secure Rural and Country's position as one of the leading suppliers of renewable energy under the ECO4 scheme.
Richard is a Director here at Rural and Country and has been a part of the team since 2019. He oversees the day to day running of the company and co-ordinates our service and maintenance division. Richard is a qualified plumbing and heating engineer and has spent his early career working for large blue-chip companies specialising in procurement and project delivery. You can find Richard in the office ensuring all projects are costed efficiently and completing complex grid designs.
Tia started here at Rural and Country in 2020, she is located in the office and oversees the running of our Solar PV and Battery installations. Tia prides herself in building strong customer relationships and ensuring the installations are completed as smoothly as possible. Tia also manages all of our social media platforms to make sure you can keep up to date with our most recent installations and company news.
