We had been operating a successful coffee shop in Wokingham for the better part of two decades when we decided to expand in late 2014. In order to make this move work financially, we needed to expand our business from coffees, teas and baguettes to entice an evening clientele.
We went to Creative to discuss the project which was at this point quite daunting, particularly after some previous bad experiences with build projects. We needed completely rebranding on top of substantial rebuilding works within a beautiful listed building. From day one we had every faith that Creative would be able to do everything we needed them to do and, as it transpired, much, much more.
From initial logo concepts and space planning, Creative went into great detail not only into appearance but also how our business model would function which was very important. They had a clear focus on what the project consisted of and how they wanted the space to feel for both staff as well as our customers. Through their knowledge of the design and build industry we saved more than double their fees against the build budget.
We have been open for one year now and I can honestly say it looks as great today as the day we opened. I would highly recommend Creative to anyone who is contemplating a design and build project. They restored our faith in the construction industry. Not only would I recommend their services, I would love to start another project just to work with them again.

Creative project services were employed by Modus Construction Limited as a specialist fit out contractor to complete a full refurbishment of Dolche Vita Café at the University of Reading using high quality materials creating a unique café experience. Works were carried out to a very high standard for a demanding customer with high levels of expectations. The construction programme was very aggressive to minimise downtime of the café facility, reducing impact to staff and students and financial loss. Elliot and his team integrated with other university framework M&E contractors to deliver the project on time and on budget. We found the Creative team very personable, efficient and delivered a high level of workmanship with a proactive approach to the project.'
