BLUE ROOTS PROJECT

Blue Roots Project was designed by a team of graduate students from the Center for Emerging Media Design and Development (EMDD) working in partnership with Circle of Blue to raise awareness of water-related problems. The project is a multi-year storytelling experience that begins with a campaign to collect stories about the value of water and its role in our lives and communities. These stories will be used to raise awareness of the problems communities around the world face, and ultimately, to develop solutions... The Blue Roots Project aims to shift how the world values this most precious resource. We're asking you to contribute stories about water in your life and community to begin this global conversation. Places around the world face different challenges related to water. Instead of trying to come up with a one-size-fits-all solution, we are asking for input from around the world to help us understand what problems exist and how the water crisis affects people on local levels.....
