The seed, from which this conference grew, was planted two weeks after the launch of Connecting for Life Mid West action plan by Bernard Gloster, Chief Officer, HSE Mid West Community Healthcare. With the support of Mark Sparling, Head of Service for Mental Health, HSE Mid West Community Healthcare and the Mid West Office for Suicide Prevention, steps were taken to make the conference a reality.
