CROSSROAD FOUNDATION

Crossroad Foundation is a nongovernmental nonprofit organization. As the only organisation in the Czech Republic, since its foundation in 1995, it has been spreading awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and of ways to protect children under 1 year of age, who are most at risk. Thanks to donors and sponsors we are able to equip Czech hospitals with Babysense II breathing monitors. These are registered at the Ministry of Health as a medical device and underwent several years of clinical trials. The device not only monitors apnea pauses, but also any baby's breathing irregularities and immediately triggers an alarm to warn the parents who can, if necessary, provide first aid in time and thus safe their baby's life...
