Brendan Hutchens is the series producer, director and co-executive producer for Density by Design. He is an accomplished multi-skilled factual content maker and owner/director of Fremantle based production company VAM Media. He is a sought after series producer, shooter / director and director, who works across factual and entertainment television productions, documentaries and web series.

• Environmental Scientist and Research Fellow With Curtin University

Dr Josh Byrne, is an environmental scientist and research fellow with Curtin University and the CRC for Low Carbon Living. In Density by Design he is on a journey of learning, seeking out the leading minds and ground-breaking ideas on sustainable higher density residential projects around Australia, that are inspiring change through demonstration. Density by Design is a factual web series produced as part of broader research project on low-carbon residential precincts being undertaken by the Curtin University Sustainability Policy Institute for the CRC for Low Carbon Living. Project partners include the Western Australian Government land development agency LandCorp, the City of Fremantle and Josh Byrne & Associates. Density by Design is produced by VAM Media, and co-written by Brendan Hutchens and Josh Byrne.
