Dr. Dipali Bhatt Chauhan

Dr. Dipali Bhatt-Chauhan works in the area of International development and Science, Technology and Entrepreneurship (STE) capacity building in developing countries. She was previously at the Institute of Physics (UK) as the International Relations Manager where she led several programs on capacity building in developing countries. She works to foster partnerships with various professional organizations, NGOs, government agencies, private sectors, ministries, and social sector internationally.

Dr. Surya Raghu

Dr. Surya Raghu is a scientist, inventor and entrepreneur. He has over 20 inventions, 14 issued US/international patents and more than 65 technical publications. He has commercialized his inventions in collaboration with industries, universities and government laboratories in the U.S.A. While he continues to conduct research, he has also organized, directed and given lectures in workshops on entrepreneurship for scientists and engineers worldwide.

Mr. Henry Tatang Tachi

Mr. Henry Tatang Tachi is currently Chairman of the Research center for Innovation-Supported Entrepreneurial Ecosystems (RISE) and accredited permanent observer of meetings of the Assemblies of 193 member states of WIPO. He has broad range of experience in both the renewable energy and extractive energy industries. He specializes in intellectual property (IP) management, and technology transfer issues in energy, environmental regulation and compliance. He focuses on transactional aspects; negotiating and drafting complex agreements, marketing, business development and counsels on corporate formation, and on how companies can efficiently and effectively launch new products, commercialize, grow and maintain businesses by leveraging their IP. Mr. Tatang worked as an IP portfolio manager at law firm in Cameroon where he handled examination of patent and trademark applications and filing in 17countries in francophone Africa. He has worked in-house in an ophthalmic optics company in the U.S.A. assisting patent counsels. He worked in the IP and Tech law clinics of various universities in U.S.A. including University of New Hampshire School of Law, and University of Houston Law Center where he obtained his Master of Laws respectively in Intellectual Property, Environment, Energy and Natural Resources. He obtained his Bachelors of Laws and a Master degree in Business law from University of Yaoundé in Cameroon. He is currently a PhD researcher and Tech-law policy clinician at the University of Washington School of Law. He has been dedicated to advancing policy, advocacy and capacity building in Africa: developing the human capital and supporting institutional infrastructure that will drive sustainable knowledge-based, innovation-driven economic development, and natural resource governance for Africa to realize the benefits of its endowments of oil, gas and minerals. He is fluent in written and spoken English and French and has excellent command of other local languages.
