Dr. Alami received her OD degree from The State University of New York College of Optometry in 2005 and completed her residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery at TLC Eye Care & Laser Center in 2006. She was awarded the Billie M. Lyons Memorial Award for distinguished service to the college community and is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Alami has traveled to the Dominican Republic, Panama, Mexico, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Peru, India, Lebanon and Virginia to provide eye care service for underprivileged populations. She is currently the President of The Rotary Club of the Tarrytowns and a member of the Sleepy Hollow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce. She has been in practice for almost 20 years and specializes in Myopia Control and laser surgery co-management.
