Founded in 1926, the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO 速) coordinates the development and adaptation of plumbing, mechanical, swimming pool and solar energy codes to meet the specific needs of individual jurisdictions both in the United States and abroad. Many of the requirements of its Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC 速) protect the health and safety of half the people in the world.
