For a long time, I knew I would end up working in the construction field, growing up as a tom boy I enjoyed accompanying my father on the weekends to the construction sights he would sub as his helper. Studied cosmetology and didn't enjoy it like I thought I would. I worked for little mom and pop construction companies took a break got married had some kids. Got back into the working field in 1999 landed a job in an all-year-round tax office after 12 years company sold and found work at a mobile home refurbishing company as an office admin for 3 years. I was offered a position in the purchasing department for a roofing company transferred to a painting and roofing company, looked for a better opportunity, and landed an interview with Mrs. Mary Millard, and had the best 2 ½ hr. interview ever, met Mr. Millard and the rest of the Millard Team, and jumped on the opportunity they offered as of today I couldn't be happier than being a Millard team Member, and full on in the construction world. My kids are all grown, and most of my free time if not all I enjoy being a grandma to my awesome grandkids.

Jennifer Bays is responsible for the back-of-house success at Millard Drywall and Acoustical Construction. Since coming on board in 2011, the Director of Human Resources and Accounts Receivable is responsible for the company's HR and accounting needs. Jennifer's first exposure to the Millard family was in 2001 when, as a temporary data entry specialist, she was assigned to work with Mary Millard at a drug and alcohol testing company. That working relationship continued and when MDAC needed an accounting specialist Jennifer moved with her husband Chris and daughter Kylie from Houston to Austin and has become an indispensable member of the team. In her spare time, Jennifer can be found camping on the coast where she enjoys fishing and crabbing or sharing her musical talents singing Karaoke at her favorite watering hole.

Manuel Luis Galvan is Millard Drywall's first employee and has been with us since 2007. as our warehouse manager, he maintains our warehouse in a very well organized and efficient manner. Manuel's passion is soccer, he has been a teacher and coach to young soccer players for many years. He has been married for 29 years and has three great kids.
