MUNROE MATERIALS employs a much different process. We quarry vein quartz that features more robust characteristics. The vein quartz that we produce contains comes out of the ground containing metal particles. Using our proprietary technology, we then proceed to remove those metal impurities resulting in silica that contains little or no oxide. That process facilitates the production of silica with a level of 95% or better purity - and a much stronger, more resilient profile.
