Dr. Hootan Forghani joined our team in August 2017. Dr. Forghani is board-eligible by the American College of Rheumatology and certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from the Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in Iran. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and completed a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Nasser Nasseri, M.D. is a board-certified rheumatologist specializing in joint, muscle, and autoimmune diseases. He earned his bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from George Washington University and a medical degree from Ross University. Dr. Nasseri was a resident and chief resident at St. Agnes Health Care before completing a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Virginia. He is Chief of Rheumatology at both St. Agnes and Union Memorial Hospitals, where he specializes in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, polymyalgia rheumatica, temporal arteritis, lupus, gout, pseudo-gout, osteoporosis, scleroderma, and other autoimmune diseases.

Laura is a registered nurse who has a passion for aesthetics and skin care. She grew up in North Carolina, where she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). After graduation, she gained experience at Johns Hopkins Hospital, working as an OR nurse. Laura is consistently staying up-to-date with the aesthetic nursing field and the beauty industry as a whole. She has a strong desire to constantly grow in her capabilities as a nurse and a commitment to helping others feel confident in their own skin.

Sahar Nemati joined the Nasseri Clinic of Arthritic and Rheumatic Diseases in 2016 and is the Practice Manager for Dr. Nasseri's Medical offices as well as our medical spa. She is dedicated to the client experience and strives to provide individualized attention to every client. She is happy to answer questions and share her personal experiences with body contouring, injectables, and laser hair removal.
