Dr. Anne McIntosh, the President of Safe'N'Clear, serves the community teaching communication courses at the college and university level. SNC's current goal is marketing the world's first FDA approved transparent surgical face mask. The Communicator™ face mask Level 1 and Level 3 enhances communication by allowing the user's face to be visible around the mouth. Dr. McIntosh holds a bachelor's degree in Speech Communication from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a masters degree in Interpersonal Communication from University of Montana at Missoula, and a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from University of Texas at Austin. The author of three books, Dr. McIntosh enjoys spending time with her spouse and children in their communication-friendly designed home and gardens. Dr. Anne McIntosh, a Communication Professor at University of Maryland Global Campus and member of the deaf community, founded Safe'N'Clear, Inc. in 2012 as a result of her real life communication complications experience during child birth. She recognized there was a critical need for effective communication between the hearing world and those with hearing loss in masked environments, not just in life-threatening situations, but in every day communications. People with disabilities are often overlooked because of stigmas, biases, and lack of awarenesses. Safe'N'Clear advocates for the inclusion and accessibility in communication for the deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind community and not just during times of crisis. As President of Safe'N'Clear, Inc., Dr. McIntosh is committed to hiring individuals with disabilities, military veterans, minorities, and college students to prepare them for the workforce.

Lisa Simonsen

As a customer acquisition and business development professional with over 20 years of experience, Lisa Simonsen understands the complexities and importance of supply chain management in today's economy. A Boston University graduate with a degree in Mass Communication, Lisa has had the unique experience of working on both sides of the aisle, the procurement role as well as enterprise development. Lisa's extensive work portfolio includes: Strategic sourcing consultant assisting multi-national firms in negotiating contracts for goods and services Project Manager tasked with reducing corporate operational costs Business Development executive in the transportation and logistics industry For instance, in her most recent role as a Client Relationship manager, she was responsible for identifying and on-boarding eCommerce clients looking for a distribution management solution that unified omnichannel sales, optimized domestic and international distribution and managed the fulfillment of direct-to-consumer goods. As a result of her experience, Lisa understands the importance of organizational goals and their influence on purchasing behaviors. Therefore, effective procurement activities need to be mindful of their impact on operating costs while maintaining a strict adherence to quality standards. Combining this understanding with transparency has enabled Lisa to successfully partner with many of the Fortune 500 companies in the business to business and business to consumer sectors. Randi Howell

Randi Howell, a North Carolina native, serves as Vice President of Human Resources. Howell is passionate about changing lives and believes that The Communicator™ has the ability to change the face of healthcare. Early in her career, Howell managed large teams of professionals and technology-focused projects. Howell holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Wofford College, a Bachelor's and Masters in History from UNC-Charlotte, a Data Analytics and Visualization Certificate from UNC-Charlotte, and a Graduate certificate in Mathematics from NC State. Howell lives with her spouse and dogs in the Charlotte metro area. She enjoys reading and puzzle games, as well as spending quality time with family and friends.

Shannon McIntosh

McIntosh is a true Tarheel. Born and raised in North Carolina, she graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. As CFO, McIntosh brings more than 25 years of experience in business accounting and office management. McIntosh believes in being an active part of her community and demonstrates this belief through her church, Civitan, and the Stephen Ministry. McIntosh enjoys spending time at home with her family, friends, and four rescue pets as well as vacationing in the NC mountains and coast.

Sophia Puckett

Sophia Puckett is the Safe'N'Clear Vice President of Operations. She has extensive knowledge with Inside Sales & Customer Service. Additionally, Puckett coordinates with the sales and marketing team to maximize social media interactions and reach. Puckett works with the fulfillment team where she is hands-on with the ordering and fulfillment processes. She strives to develop and enhance relationships with our customers by better understanding their needs. Puckett holds a bachelors degree in Communication with a focus in Public Relations from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In her free time, Puckett enjoys relaxing with friends and family.

Susan Little

Susan Little is the Safe'N'Clear Accounting Specialist. As a former engineer, quality control manager, and teacher, she has an eye for efficiency and effectiveness. Susan holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a master's in Business Administration, and she is very active in the community as an academic enrichment tutor for students in high-poverty areas. Susan volunteers extensively at her church and enjoys relaxing with friends and family.
