Annie Kelly

Annie currently serves as a Assistant Director for Student Success within the Center. In her role for Student Success, Annie serves as the supervisor of the Aspirational Peer Mentors (APMs) and focuses on supporting first-year Deneb students in their successful transition to Washington University. In addition, Annie is a member of the Student Success Fund review committee and is able to assist students receiving financial aid navigate supplemental funding opportunities. Annie has a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a M.Ed in Youth Development from the University of Illinois at Chicago focused on holistic asset-based supports for young adults. Previous to joining the Taylor Family Center for Student Success, Annie worked for education support programs for immigrant students and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ethiopia. Annie aims to be resource for all first generation, limited income, and undocumented students on campus. Mark Figueroa

Mark Figueroa currently serves as an Assistant Director in the Taylor Family Center for Student Success. In his role, Mark oversees the Kessler Scholars Program and provides holistic support to Kessler Scholars, who are first-generation limited-income STEM students (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) looking to utilize their education in the STEM field to have a social impact and create societal change. Additionally, Mark works with the Kessler Collaborative to further develop the Kessler Scholar Program initiative at Washington University in St. Louis. Mark has a Bachelors of Arts & Sciences from Lewis & Clark College and a M.Ed. in Student Affairs Administration from Lewis & Clark's Graduate School of Education & Counseling. Before joining the Taylor Family Center for Student Success, Mark worked as a Program Manager for Lewis & Clark's Office of Inclusion & Multicultural Engagement, a First-Term Academic Advisor for Portland Community College, and as an Athletic Academic Advisor for Portland State University.
