The SYM Crew department is headed up by Victoria Young. After 15 years as yacht crew and now more than 10 years in crew recruitment, she and her team are ideally placed to match the right crew to the right boat!... It still amazes me when a captain or owner tells me he's already received a crew CV from another agency and it transpires that the agency has never even met the candidate or even told them about the job they were submitting them for! That wastes everyone's time. We aim to fulfil the professional needs of captains and crew by only putting them forward for positions that suit their requirements; we've found this maximises job satisfaction and encourages longevity, which means happy owners and guests too!
