Tarameen is owned by Tariq Marfani who is based in Manchester. A Cranfield Business graduate, Tariq had been an innovative textile importer from India & China & running his own company since 1986. Along with Samir Mehta a Manchester University Textile Technology graduate, they and their teams at Tarameen and Esteam bring a wealth of experience in sourcing ethically produced fabrics and high-performance textiles. Production at the Indian based factory is to a world-class standard and the site at Miraj in Sangli, Maharashtra is one of not just India's but Asia's leading ethically sound production units... We have manufactured and distributed products for Accessorize, ASDA, Monsoon, Cadbury's, The Co-Operative, Lidl, Marks & Spencer, Next, Sainsbury's, Tesco, TK Maxx, Epona, Dickies, MPreis and The Fairtrade Foundation offices around Europe...
