Completed in 1972, 811 Louisiana is a 26-story, 579,570-square-foot office building containing 17 office levels, 12 parking levels and two commercial levels. 811 Louisiana represents the collaboration between Hines and world-renowned architect Skidmore, Owings & Merrill out of Chicago. Formerly Two Shell Plaza, the building took on two major renovations in the early 90's and then again in 2011. Upgrades to the building's major systems such as elevators, building control system, electrical riser, window replacement, and curtain wall were just a few projects included as a part of these renovations.
