Bobbie-Jo Mitchell

Commencing her career in the tax profession, Bobbie-Jo quickly rose through the ranks in local accounting firms in both Wagga Wagga and Newcastle, training junior staff members and gaining her own portfolio of clients. After almost 10 years in the industry, she transitioned into the corporate world and assisted multiple companies with the implementation and establishment of their accounting software and financial controls. In 2012, Bobbie-Jo commenced as a finance manager in the education sector, with the role evolving to a business management role in 2015. During her time in education, Bobbie-Jo was responsible for the financial management of a multi-million dollar budget and gained extensive knowledge in business management including human resource management and payroll, facilities & operations management and risk and compliance. Bringing this expertise with her, Bobbie-Jo joined NAG in 2021, in the newly appointed business manager role. She endeavours to assist in the continued growth of the firm and building on its best practice reputation.

Bronte Hutchinson

Bronte has recently joined the National Audits Group team, bringing 4 years' experience working in the Government Sector, the majority of which was in a Quality Control and Assurance role, which involved liaising with the Audit Office of NSW.

Chang Chow

Chang commenced his career as a business adviser with a local mid-tier accounting practice in Dubbo. He transitioned into audit and assurance to broaden the services of the practice in 2004 and progressed through the ranks to senior audit manager in 2014 and Associate Partner in 2016. After the completion of a six-month contract as Senior Manager - Technical and Quality Assurance with ACT Audit Office, Chang relocated to Wagga in 2019 and has become a pivotal team member within National Audits Group. Chang has a diverse range of client experience with entities ranging from small to large reporting public companies. These include subsidiaries of foreign owned companies; not-for-profit organisations including the education, health and aged care sectors; registered clubs and local government. Danielle Nye

Danielle commenced her professional career in audit in 2010 and has since gained superior technical knowledge in the standards, laws and regulations that govern our client base, which ranges from small charitable organisations to large proprietary companies. Danielle joined National Audits Group in 2014 as a Senior Auditor and swiftly made her mark, being promoted to a manager role and then recognised as an Associate of the firm at only 28 years old. More recently, Danielle was appointed an Executive Director and Shareholder of National Audits Group, effective as of 1 July 2021. Danielle is committed to the continuous improvement of the technical resources, tools, and templates used within National Audits Group and the profession as a whole. This commitment is driven by her passion for the profession and working closely with like-minded individuals. As such, Danielle prides herself on being our dedicated in-house Technical and Standards Specialist as well as our Training and Development Facilitator. Following approximately 14 years in Local Government, she transitioned to the Department of Defence where she undertook the payroll function, financial management and financial controls. During this time, Nicole gained a sound understanding of Government Policies and Procedures coupled with Compliance and Risk Management requirements. In 2015, Nicole commenced as a Finance Officer within an Aboriginal entity, where she assisted in the financial management of a multi-million dollar budget and gained further knowledge and skills in payroll, financial management and risk and compliance. With her commitment to the finance profession, Nicole joined NAG in March 2022, as an External Auditor, where she strives to implement her expertise and industry knowledge across all facets of her work. Stephen Prowse

Stephen is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, with more than 20 years' experience as a qualified finance professional, working in public practice, including audit, accounting, tax, and the public sector. Stephen has 20+ years' experience working in and for local government, including audit, finance, insurance and risk management, property, and business management including a large regional airport and livestock marketing centre. He has successfully managed and delivered complex capital projects with budgets in excess of $20m, in the public sector. Stephen has prior experience as a Director for a large industry peak body, and chaired the Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee. Stephen has more than 20 years' experience as a qualified finance professional, working in public practice accounting and taxation, local government finance, and has managed large businesses with turnover in excess of $380 million.
