Benito, a 15 year veteran of the industry spent the first 10 years of his career as one of the senior members of the in-house sales team at Stewart Filmscreen. Benito spent the first few months of his career working in production at Stewart Filmscreen. He was asked to use his technical expertise in the Marketing department where he assisted at all trade shows and training events. Shortly after that, he was asked to join the inside sales team where he held a hybrid role which consisted of managing the major territories for Stewart as well as offer a high level of technical support to the Manufacturers Reps and as dealers in his territories. After leaving Stewart in 2010, Benito spent time consulting in the CI channel before partnering with co-worker and friend Joaquin Rivera to form ByDesign Vision & Sound Marketing Inc.

Jessica brings a diverse background of experiences to our team having spent time in various customer relations and marketing roles within the retail and consumer goods industries. When Jessica transitioned her career into the Audio Visual Industry in 2012, she was inspired by the passionate sales and marketing professionals whom she has had the opportunity to work alongside. Jessica has experience collaborating with a variety of integrators within our industry. She strives to create a best in-class experience for our clients and is driven to develop productive long term business relationship.

Joaquin grew up in the industry having spent fifteen years as an integral part of the team at Stewart Filmscreen, the industry leader in video projections screens. Joaquin began his career in production at Stewart Filmscreen, shortly moving to Marketing, Inside Sales, International Sales, Factory Liaison, National Sales Manager, Director of Sales and finally the first VP in the history of Stewart that was not a Stewart. Losing Stewart local CA, AZ, Vegas and Hawaii long time representative, Joaquin decided to make a change leaving with co-worker and friend Benito Joaquin in 2014 to form ByDesign Vision & Sound Marketing Inc. Nathan was "born" into the Audio Video world! From a young age he's learned the business from his father, Joaquin Rivera. Nathan has been with ByDesign for 4 years now and will continue to provide exceptional service to our integrators and business partners.

Ryan, with 20+ years in the industry, began in Retail Sales working in an independent retailer as well as a big box. He was drawn to custom integration by Automation, Lighting Control and Home Theater. He made the switch from retail to custom install a few years in consuming every piece of information he could get his hands on and training opportunity he could find. After years of apprenticeship he learned integrated system sales, marketing, system design, and project management. He then helped a new integration firm grow into a successful and thriving business. With a desire to build Partnerships and see the Custom Integration channel grow and continue to push boundaries, he stepped into the Manufacturers Rep side of the business and joined us here at ByDesign Vision & Sound Marketing.

Tommie began his journey in consumer electronics over 20 years ago in big box retail. His passion for the industry pushed him to learn and read everything he could get his hands on. Through the years he has successfully navigated many positions including customer service, technical service, design, sales and operation manager of an integration company in Hawaii. In 2013 he reached a new pinnacle becoming the principle of a manufacturer rep company and has represented some of the biggest names in our industry. He collaborated for several years with ByDesign on the islands and developed such a good relationship with them that it made sense to bring him completely into the ByDesign family in 2020. Back in 2014, Joaquin Rivera took a leap of faith and left his position as VP of Sales with Stewart Film screen. Joaquin had a dream and a vision of starting his own business. After 15 years at Stewart Filmscreen, he launched his dream business, ByDesign Vision & Sound Marketing. Shortly after launch, Benito Joaquin, who previously worked along-side Joaquin, joined and became his business partner. This duo has grown ByDesign from 2 manufacturers (Stewart Filmscreen & Planar) to now 14 different manufacturers, 6 employees and have expanded across Southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona & Hawaii.
