With a technical background in mechanical engineering and experience in civil contracting, Alec brings a unique skill set to every project. His involvement in the heavy industrial sector, coupled with his recent success with prominent municipal projects, has provided a strong foundation for his career. Alec believes that open communication is the cornerstone of a successful project and strives to create a harmonious, structured, and cooperative work environment.
Alec has typically worked on large-scale construction projects, including the $100m, Surrey Civic Centre Hall project that included brand new City Hall facilities, extensive civic plaza development, and parking for upwards of 750 cars. This is a key component of Surrey's new downtown precinct.
More recently, Alec has been managing the construction of the five-phase, 250-acre Campbell Heights North Business Park, the Surrey Museum Expansion, and the South Field Electrical Centre, which is a critical building to the successful operation of the YVR Airport.

Amanda is a Project Manager with experience in successfully managing projects through all stages of development, including business case development and approval, concept development, design, municipal approvals, construction, commissioning, and move-in.

Ardi graduated from SFU with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering and has been involved in the construction industry ever since. With over 5 years of experience, he has been providing value and experience in construction management for projects ranging from $1 million to $500 million. He has knowledge of Lump-Sum, cost-plus GMP and Design-Build contracts to help facilitate and meet client expectations.
With this wide range of project involvement, he recognizes the importance of strong communication, teamwork, and honesty which are all imperative to develop strong client relationships. His general contracting and engineering background has allowed him to provide insight, recommendations, and cost saving solutions in the best interest of clients.
Cormac is a performance driven project manager with an excellent track record in the successful delivery of complex building and infrastructure projects around the Lower Mainland. In representing both public and private sector clients, Cormac has managed and delivered projects ranging in value from $2M to $500M.
His experience includes all aspects and roles on a typical project including design and construction roles (field engineer and site superintendent) and ultimately as the Owner's project manager. This understanding of all team member needs and requirements has allowed Cormac to navigate complicated project issues with a firm, fair and agreement focused negotiation style.
With strong leadership and communication skills, Cormac has a proven ability to lead projects and foster relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders to successfully deliver projects.
Dana provides excellent project management skills developed over 19+ years of successfully managing a diverse range of projects through all stages of development, including functional programming, concept development, design, municipal approvals, construction, commissioning, and move-in. Dana has a proven ability to effectively manage and administer budgets and contracts up to $500M, often with unique funding models and multiple partners, utilizing a variety of construction contract forms.
Dana has extensive experience in directing project resources in the fast pace of the construction environment, including procuring and managing design consultants and contractors, administering construction contracts and managing scope changes through change management procedures. Dana has a demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with multiple project partners and stakeholders in order to deliver projects successfully.
Darryl is an energetic and dynamic leader with over 8 years of Project Management experience. She understands the importance of successful executions through thoughtful collaboration and partnership combined with developing high performers and scalable processes.
Darryl is proficient in overseeing the progress of operations and monitoring cross-company projects. She is hands-on in optimizing resources and workflows and creating well sequenced processes to ensure effective program execution. Experience at overseeing million-dollar budgets, and creating value-added campaigns to assist organizations achieve dynamic goals.
Gavin has attained valuable experience working on both public and private sector projects, through all stages of the project lifecycle, notably, through the feasibility / viability, detailed design, planning, tender & procurement, and construction delivery stages.
Irvin has worked in the construction industry for over 26 years with roles as project manager and senior project estimator. Irvin has worked on project management and construction planning for some of the largest projects that have occurred in Vancouver over the last decade, including the Richmond Speed Skating Oval and Telus William Farrell Building.
Irvin's background as a senior construction estimator has provided him with skill sets that make him an exceptional and unique project manager. Firstly, he has an excellent understanding of how contractors bid projects and can organize procurement plans to create very positive results on behalf of clients. Secondly, he is able to verify change order costs due to his extensive knowledge of trade costs. Thirdly, Irvin has an extensive relationship with local sub-trades. This ensures that his projects receive the best trade performance through construction. Fourthly, Irvin has extensive design review experience and can provide exceptionally detailed feedback to consultants. Lastly, he can provide comprehensive project budgets and estimates to his clients that can be relied upon with certainty.
Jennifer is a motivated and versatile Project Manager with over nine years of professional experience in the construction industry. She has a demonstrated track record of successfully delivered schemes in Canada and the UK across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, leisure, and post-secondary institutional.
With a technical education and training in architecture and construction management, Jennifer developed her career directly managing site construction works on the general contractor side. This, combined with Jennifer's hands-on experience with a residential architectural practice, has allowed her to establish a deep understanding of the various responsibilities and nuances within project teams enabling her to effectively lead mandates as an owner's representative.
Jennifer's key attributes include the ability to diligently motivate project teams and a commitment to developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholder groups. Her expertise on multi-stakeholder, fast-paced projects has honed informed decision-making skills along with insightful risk management and mitigation practices.
Jeremy is a fast-growing development professional, with most of his experience in the industrial sector. He has worked on large projects from rezoning through to completion and in the early part of his career was involved on the construction side on commercial TI projects.
Jeremy has completed the DULE Diploma and has his RI designation from the Real Estate Institute of BC. Jeremy is and experienced, dedicated, and knowledgeable project management and development professional with over 10 years of real estate experience.
He utilizes his deep understanding of development, construction, and property management processes with a focus on industrial and commercial properties, he completes projects on time and on budget in collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
With 26 years of experience in the construction industry, Josh's extensive project management experience has focused on residential, institutional, and commercial / retail construction which includes working on residential buildings, offices, town centres, recreation buildings, libraries, police buildings, schools, transit, and automotive dealership projects. Josh has a solid history of working on projects with challenging design constraints and excels at coordinating the design process for multiple stakeholder groups.
Josh's background in general contracting has given him solid knowledge of construction processes. He has worked his entire career within the Vancouver region, which has given him an extensive knowledge of local contractors and consultants and very positive working relationships with each group. Josh is PMP certified and a LEED AP and has worked on several LEED-accredited buildings.
Justin has worked in the design and construction industry for the past 27 years, where he has represented both public and private sector clients in managing the development and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects valued between $5 million and $1+ billion. Justin adds value with his knowledge and experience with all procurement models, including Design-Build, Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), Construction Management, Design-Bid-Build and Public Private Partnerships, which allows him to offer his clients expertise in choosing the right delivery model for their projects.
Justin has significant experience, and excels with multi stakeholder, multi funder, high public profile projects, as he uses his excellent facilitation and management capabilities to deliver projects on time and budget while always continually ensuring the project meets the clients objectives. As a result, he has significant experience negotiating complex agreements with all parties including designers, contractors, municipalities, senior levels of government, First Nations, railways, and utilities.
A structural engineer, Justin spent the early part of his career designing a large number of institutional projects in British Columbia including 24/7 operation centers, airports, pretrial centres, municipal facilities, elementary and high schools and hospitals. This broad base of understanding of all engineering disciplines in both the design and construction phases of infrastructure projects has served Justin and his clients well in his project management roles to date.
With 10 years experience managing construction and transportation projects from functional programming to move in, Kristen is a skilled owner's project manager who has successfully led several major projects on Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.
Kristen's career has primarily focused on procuring and managing the design and construction of operations and maintenance facilities for BC Transit. She also has broad experience in managing the replacement, upgrade, or addition of major facility and property systems at BC Transit's existing facilities across the Province of BC. Her career began at KONE Elevators, where she managed the installation of elevators in newly constructed buildings on Vancouver Island.
With her strong leadership and communication skills, Kristen can develop and maintain effective relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders to successfully deliver projects. Her broad range of experience has given her a deep understanding of the challenges that can arise during a project and the skills needed to successfully navigate them.
With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Kyla has excelled in roles such as Project Coordinator, Proposal Coordinator, and Project Assistant. Prior to joining Core, she was the on-site administrator at the Seymour-Capilano Water Treatment Facility project in North Vancouver, one of the world's largest UV water disinfection facilities.
Kyla's background in proposal coordination and construction estimating, brings a uniquely diverse skill set to Core. Her construction administration experience make her an invaluable asset to any project.
Lloyd has worked in the design, construction and property development industry for 8 years, representing private and listed entities as well as driving public sector projects.
After graduating as a mechanical engineer, the early stages of Lloyd's career focused on managing the design and delivery of mechanical services in universities, malls, residential and commercial buildings, and water treatment works.
As a development and project manager, Lloyd has successfully delivered numerous commercial and industrial facilities with many requiring specialized amenities in the mining, pharmaceutical, and cold chain storage sectors.
Lloyd has experience in working in highly constrained and fast-paced environments, with clients from North America, Europe and Africa, in environments with challenges such as material supply issues, unreliable/absent electricity supply, volatile workforce and poor municipal support. He has led and motivated teams to be dynamic and resourceful, and to collaborate to mitigate risks and deliver projects successfully. Coming from an engineering background, Lloyd thrives on being able to problem solve through establishing an end goal and working systematically to achieve it - and motivating the team to do the same.
Noah has 2 years of experience in coordination and managing multifamily residential buildings and small renovation projects. He has worked on multiple projects concurrently while ensuring that they are all delivered on time and within budget.
Noah has primarily focused on coordination and management during the construction phase of multifamily residential buildings. He has experience ensuring that all work follows design and documented. Noah also developed and maintained effective relationships with stakeholders, trades and suppliers. Noah's experience allows him to understand that challenges arise and how to deal with them efficiently and timely.
Noah's strengths lie organization, documentation and management of site related issues. He has experience working in the field giving him a unique perspective on how site issues are resolved and how the work is sequenced. Noah also has experience with AutoCAD and other design applications that allow him to understand and familiarize himself with project drawings.
