Keith DeHaan

Keith manages the overall technical, financial, and personnel resources for each of Food and Livestock Planning, Inc.'s projects. He specializes in start-ups and start-overs and management of established operating companies in the packing industry focusing on new technology, food safety, management, and systems integration from the quality of the live animal to the end customer. Bio: Keith has been in the meat packing industry in either a corporate executive, consultant, or scientist role since 1992. Notable companies he has worked for include Farmland Foods, Beef America and DemKota Ranch Beef. Keith has served as vice president of Food Safety and Quality and Chief Operations Officer for a 2,100 cattle per day packing company. He also served as President of a 1,500 cattle per day packing company from the company's start-up. Additionally, he has managed an integrated supply system for a large packing company. Keith has managed several start-ups and built management teams to sustain businesses going forward. He has written business plans for food and livestock companies in 20 states and 6 foreign countries. Matthew Gibson

Matt is skilled in navigating businesses through high-change processes and environments: especially, start-ups and turn-arounds. Matt brings to bear his strong technical and food safety background, along with deep marketing and management expertise, for the benefit of clients undergoing rapid-growth-phase of business operations. He has served as Vice President of SouthWind Milling, a rice milling company; LifeLine Foods, a corn and ethanol-milling company; and POET Ethanol, the world's largest fuel-ethanol producer from dry-grind operations. Samantha Egolf

Samantha provides meat technical services to clients for product processing, food safety and HACCP plans, and grant writing services. Bio: Samantha grew up raising Hereford and Belted Galloway beef cattle. She studied meat science during her graduate studies, focusing on meat processing, beef quality, and food safety and completed an apprenticeship with a small meat processor in Pennsylvania. She is both HACCP and PCQI certified and is a member with the American Association of Meat Processors. Tracy Christian

Tracy provides financial assistance for business planning during project development. Bio: Tracy has significant experience assisting high-growth companies in a variety of consulting capacities. She graduated from the University of Tulsa with honors in 1989 and was previously a manager with Ernst & Young, an international public accounting firm. In 1996, she began her own consulting practice where her consulting projects have included: developing and performing due diligence procedures for acquisitions, assisting with preparation for financial statement audits, initial public offerings and SEC registration statements, analyzing and streamlining business processes, and designing models for financial statement and cash flow forecasting.
