James R. Wyrsch

Jim is a seasoned litigator who specializes in civil rights violations, but also operates extensively in the fields of commercial and employment law. He worked for eight years at a sizable, international law firm before starting KW Law, where he specialized in commercial litigation of all kinds, such as contract and complex tort claims, class and collective actions, labor and employment, and white-collar defense and investigations. Jim has also defended several clients pro bono, even aiding the freedom of a man finally declared innocent after 16 years in prison. In the beginning of his career, Jim served as a judicial clerk to the Hon. William R. Price, Jr. of the Missouri Supreme Court. He held a two-year clinical graduate fellowship at Georgetown University Law Center in the Criminal Justice Clinic, and also served as an assistant public defender with the Missouri State Public Defender's office in St. Louis, Missouri. Jim and his wife Elissa, who practices law in St. Louis, have a profound respect for social justice, technology, history, music, and sports. They currently live in the Shaw neighborhood with their two children and two dogs.

Lexie Salamone

Lexie joined KW as an administrative assistant in July 2019 after earning her degree from Webster University. During her initial time at KW, she was responsible for a variety of administrative tasks and made use of her Spanish education by serving as a point of contact for Spanish speaking clients. After a year at KW, Lexie started working as an immigration case coordinator with our attorneys to coordinate difficult immigration situations. Lexie was very interested in human rights concerns surrounding migration justice during her undergraduate studies, and she aspired to gain more knowledge about the legal aspects of immigration in the US. Her interest in immigration law and exposure to the difficulties immigrants face when navigating the legal system in the United States further fueled her desire to learn more about the subject. Lexie grew from "Case Coordinator" to "Law Clerk" in the fall of 2021. Even though she is a full-time student at the St. Louis University School of Law, KW is lucky to have Lexie work with our clients on immigration cases part-time at our office Lexie was born and raised outside of Kansas City, Missouri. She now lives in the St. Louis "Boulevard Heights" neighborhood with her boyfriend and pets. In her free time, Lexie loves to spend time watching documentaries, organizing cluttered spaces, and searching for the best food South City has to offer. Education: Webster University - B.A. International Relations and International Human Rights, magna cum laude, international distinction (2019) St. Louis University School of Law (J.D. expected 2024)

Mary Lamere

Mary has over 25 years of experience as a legal assistant, working for both big and small law firms, and has a wealth of experience in the litigation field. Mary was a legal assistant and office manager for KW Law in the past. She briefly left the legal profession and tried her hand at commercial construction disbursing before realizing she missed her legal profession. Mary started working at KW Law again in December 2021 and has been enjoying using her litigation knowledge once more. She really relishes interactions with the firm's clientele. With her husband Mike, a nurse, her son Andrew, and her cherished pets, Mary resides in Godfrey, Illinois. Her favorite pastimes include being outside or spending time with her seven grandchildren, sons, and daughters-in-law.
