ANDREW JONES

Andrew qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2009 and since this time has worked within private Physiotherapy and sport. Private practice has enabled Andrew to gain invaluable Physiotherapy experience through working alongside numerous clientèle, ranging from Post-Operative Orthopaedics, Stroke Rehabilitation to Sports Injuries. Alongside clinic work Andrew has a keen interest in sport and can very often be seen working pitch side with a team or behind the scenes with Athletes in rehabilitation. In 2009 Andrew took up the role as Physiotherapist for the Highland League team, Lossiemouth FC where he worked alongside the players for over 5 years. After a short break he accepted the role as Physiotherapist for the Scottish League 2 side, Elgin City FC. Andrew's current role within Elgin City involves him overseeing the care of all players, from the Junior squad's right up to the Senior 1st Team. In 2014 Andrew was selected to work in the Athlete Medical Rooms at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth games. This role involved overseeing and providing a high standard of care for all competing Athletes from all Commonwealth Nations. To ensure Physiotherapy treatment is of a continual high standard Andrew ensures his CPD is ongoing and progressive. Attending numerous courses and CPD sessions to help ensure his approach to assessment, diagnosis and treatment is safe and effective. Qualifications - Bsc (Hons) Physiotherapy
