Chris Sarthou

Chris has a background in orthopaedic prosthesis. He works closely with Mr Garewal and the practice nurse to help patients with enquiries during their entire journey pre-operative and post-operative.

Dr. Alister Ooi

Alister completed his Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery and Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Melbourne graduating with honours in 2006. He is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA). An experienced shoulder anaesthetist who also completed an overseas fellowship in Canada.

Dr. Andy Siswojo

Andy completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and St Vincent's clinical school. He subsequently completed the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) fellowship in 2013 through St Vincent's, Monash Health and Western Health. Andy works in both public and private practice.

Dr. Gurdeesh Kaur

Gurdeesh graduated with honours in Medicine at Monash University in 2005 and completed her anaesthetic training at St Vincent's hospital. Training at St Vincent's Hospital is heavily focused in regional anaesthesia, and as such Gurdeesh grew to appreciate the complexities and benefits of regional anaesthesia in mainstream anaesthetic practice.

Dr. James Taylor

James is a GP with sports medicine interest who enjoys helping people to regain their ability to participate in an active lifestyle. He is a founding co-director of Australian Sports Doctors, completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Melbourne University (1996), Bachelor of Laws (2001), and Fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)(2008). James is a Quality and Assurance Examiner for the RACGP and a surgical assistant to surgeons associated with Australian Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic (AOSM) at Warringal Private Hospital, and presenter for Sports Medicine Australia.

Dr. Jeremy Wong

Jeremy completed his medical training in Melbourne and completed his anaesthesia qualifications from St Vincent's Hospital where he is involved with the training of future anaesthetists. Jeremy maintains a wide and varied anaesthesia practise. He is particularly interested in effective strategies for treating post-operative pain with nerve blocks. Jeremy's practise includes a large number of orthopaedic and neurosurgical operations.

Dr. Jonathon Raw

Jonathon attained his medical degree in 2011, he has a strong foundation in medical and surgical specialties with a specific interest in orthopaedics. He strives for excellence in patient care and a positive health outcome. He enjoys playing sport, travelling and good food.

Dr. Justin Nazareth

Justin completed his medical degree with honours at the University of WA in 2007. He undertook his anaesthetic training in Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA). Justin completed his fellowship in perioperative medicine at the Alfred and is very experienced in shoulder anaesthesia and perioperative care.

Dr. Simon Liubinas

Simon graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2006 and worked for a number of years undergoing surgical training at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Alfred Hospital (Melbourne) and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (Sydney). He was awarded his PhD from The University of Melbourne in 2012. Simon continues to assist in complex orthopaedic and neurosurgical surgery at various Melbourne Hospitals.

Dr. Tracy Shang

Tracy is a GP with a sports medicine interest who completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with Monash University (2005), Diploma in Child Health (2009), and Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)(2010). As a co-director of Australian Sports Doctors, she enjoys managing musculoskeletal, sports and degenerative joint conditions across all ages and abilities. Tracy is a surgical assistant at Warringal, examiner for the RACGP, and enjoys presenting at courses for the GP college and Sports Medicine Australia.

Louise Aitken

Louise is a registered nurse with over 20 years experience in orthopaedics. Her career began as a theatre scrub/scout nurse. She then moved into the orthopaedic prosthetic industry in sales and clinical support roles within the operating theatre. The combination of these skills are an asset to assist our patients from their initial appointment through to rehabilitation.

Mr. Devinder Garewal

Mr. Devinder Garewal is an orthopaedic shoulder surgeon. Devinder completed his medical qualifications from the University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. After completing his orthopaedic training in Victoria, Devinder undertook fellowships subspecializing in shoulder surgery and upper limb trauma. He worked as an orthopaedic trauma fellow at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne, then completed 12 months of prestigious international fellowships in France, Italy and with the world-renowned upper limb unit in Wrightington, England. During this time, he attained advanced skills in orthopaedic diagnosis, arthroscopic, keyhole, minimally invasive and computer navigated surgical management and rehabilitation techniques. Mr. Devinder Garewal is an orthopaedic shoulder specialist. Devinder completed his medical qualifications from the University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. As a fellowship trained shoulder specialist, Mr. Devinder Garewal is experienced in providing personalised and expert care for all shoulder problems. Mr. Devinder Garewal is a surgeon at Melbourne Arm Clinic who can perform arthroscopic surgery as well as shoulder surgery.

Mr. Matthan Mammen

Mr Matthan Mammen is a specialist orthopaedic elbow, wrist and hand surgeon. Matthan is an internationally qualified orthopaedic surgeon, who is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Matthan has completed esteemed fellowships in both upper limb trauma and complex hand conditions and wrist conditions. At the Alfred Hospital, Matthan worked in the capacity of the lead trauma fellow where he managed complex trauma from across Victoria. Additionally, he completed a hand/wrist fellowship where he gained advanced skills in the management of complex upper limb conditions. To supplement his keen upper limb trauma interest, Matthan has also completed a trauma fellowship at the Western Hospital. Matthan specialises in all aspects of the elbow, wrist and hand, including trauma management, wrist arthroscopy, elbow arthroscopy and joint replacement surgery. He has a particular interest in complex injury, and degenerative conditions affecting the elbow and wrist. Matthan has a passion for teaching medical and allied health staff. He is also actively involved in research and has published numerous scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. Mr. Mammen is pleased to provide a comprehensive orthopaedic elbow, wrist and hand surgery service and is committed to offering timely treatment to all patients. Mr. Matthan Mammen is an internationally qualified orthopaedic surgeon, who is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He has a wealth of experience treating patients with orthopaedic upper limb injuries and degenerative conditions and has the orthopaedic training to perform elbow surgery. Matthan Mammen is an orthopaedic surgeon and doctor at Melbourne Arm Clinic and helps patients with joint-related health conditions.
