Andrew F. Alalade

Andrew F. Alalade is a Neurosurgeon who works in the Victor Horsley Department of Neurosurgery at The National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London. He recently completed his specialist training and was at one time, a member of the hospital's Clinical Governance Committee and a honorary Clinical Lecturer with the University College London. Andrew is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons - Neurosurgery (FRCS SN), and a Fellow of the European Board of Neurological Surgery (FEBNS). He has been involved in drafting Core Competencies for the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges Curricula/Training programmes and has served as a panel member for the Core Surgical Matching Interviews with the London Deanery. A member of several neurosurgical societies, he has authored a book and has a couple of book chapters. Andrew is a keen mentor and trainer, and has given mentoring-themed talks to several medical student societies and other organisations - in and outside the United Kingdom. He was a Council Member of the Association of Surgeons in Training (ASiT) and Executive Member of the British Neurosurgical Trainee Association (2011 - 2014). Currently, he serves as the PRO of Medical Association of Nigerians Across Great Britain (MANSAG). Dr. Akinseye Aluko

Dr. Akinseye Aluko is a lecturer at the University of East London. Dr. Akinseye Olatokunbo Aluko is a lecturer at the University of East London. He started his lecturing career at the University of Teesside, where he got his MSc in International Management and an MBA respectively. He went on to become a lecturer at Teesside University (2011-2016) due to his academic performance and charismatic abilities. Akinseye later took a voluntary Part-Time lecturing job at University of Sunderland where he later gained his PhD in "Strategic Change Management in the Maritime Crude Oil in Nigeria". He is also an Associate Fellow Member of the Higher Education Academy (UK). Dr. Alexander Ezenagu

Alexander has a doctorate in international tax law from McGill University. He holds a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) from the University of Cambridge, and is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association. Dr. Alexander Ezenagu is currently an Assistant Professor in the College of Law at HBKU. An international tax expert. He specializes in international tax law, transfer pricing, tax planning, investment advisory and commercial law advisory and practice. He obtained his Ph.D. in international tax law from McGill University, Canada. He is also a graduate of the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, where he obtained an LL.M. in commercial law. He holds an LL.B. degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and has been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Dr. Bolanle Adebola

Dr. Bolanle Adebola is a lecturer in International Commercial Law at the School of Law, University of Reading and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. Dr. Bolanle Adebola is a lecturer in International Commercial Law at the School of Law, University of Reading. Her broad research interests lie in various facets of corporate law. For the most part, she focuses on corporate governance, finance and insolvency law. Currently, her research investigates the design of effective corporate rescue systems. Such systems, she believes, should balance the interests of all stakeholders while supporting the preservation of distressed but viable businesses in the economy. Bolanle's research employs socio-legal, comparative and empirical methods. While contributing to debates in advanced economies, she is also actively involved in the development of effective corporate rescue systems in emerging economies. Bolanle holds an LL.B from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun state, an LL.M from Bangor University, Wales and a Ph. D from University College London. She is called to the Nigerian Bar. She is an academic member of the international and European arms of the global body of insolvency practitioners, INSOL and the Insolvency Lawyers Association (ILA), a member of the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN), as well as a Chartered Member of the Governance Institute (ICSA). She is a contributing editor of the Encyclopedia of Banking Law (Insolvency Division).

Dr. Fola Adeyemo - Founder

Dr. Fola Adeyemo is the Founder of Mentorship Direct. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. She is a law lecturer at the University of Reading and the Deputy Director for Admissions. Dr. Fola Adeyemo is a lecturer in banking law at the University of Reading. She is the module convenor for Company Law, Banking Law and International Corporate Governance at the Postgraduate level. Fola's area of expertise and interest include banking and financial regulation, whistleblower protection and bank insolvency. Her jurisdictions of interest include Nigeria, South Africa, the UK and the US, and she enjoys exploring these jurisdictions through a range of different methodologies, including comparative and critical analysis. Fola has published extensively in her areas of interest, however, her most recent article (published by the Journal of Business Law, 2019), contributes to the ongoing discourse on whistleblower protection in England and Wales. The article explores the current whistleblower architecture and considers the challenges and paradoxes of the statutory provisions. Her forthcoming monograph, titled Banking Regulation in Africa: The Case of Nigeria and Other Emerging Economies (Routledge, 2020) considers the practical measures which may be employed to improve the banking regulatory environment in selected emerging economies. Folashade has been invited to contribute to a textbook, titled Principles of Commercial Law (Edward Elgar, 2021), where she contributes a chapter on Banking Law. Fola is also currently working on a research project which examines the management of troubled banks in Africa, with a specific focus on Nigeria. Fola is a qualified barrister and solicitor, called to the Nigerian Bar, and holds degrees from the University of Westminster (LLB, 2010); Brunel University, (LLM, 2010, International Economic and Trade Law); PhD, 2017); and is admitted as a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, (2013).

He has been involved in the preparation of full process deliverables and liaison with engineering design teams on wastewater and energy from waste projects. He has also managed contractors working on the membrane treatment plants within the Wessex Water Region. He carried out research on membrane separation technology and in particular improving the efficiency of membrane performance and flux sustainability using turbulence promoters during his doctorate programme at the University of Nottingham. He is currently a research scientist working on various projects within QEERI to investigate the technologies available for water/wastewater reuse and produced water treatment using membrane technology.
