He attended International Shipping Trade Practices in Hongkong, and the Leadership and Management Development Program at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. Jay is a member of the Philippine Liner Shipping Association.

Jesse Stefan H. Maxwell

Jesse Stefan H. Maxwell is the President and CEO of Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL). He is responsible for the group's overall performance and profitability, initiates and leads strategy formulation and implementation, and provides direction and guidelines to all operating divisions and support groups. He started his career in Magsaysay in 2011 as the Head of the Business Department in charge of assessing new business opportunities. In 2013, he became the Chief Operating Officer of MSL's Tanker Shipping Division prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer of MSL in 2019. With more than 10 years of experience in shipping, logistics, and distribution, Jesse also seats as the Director of the Philippine Petroleum Seatransport Association (PHILPESTA) and Philippine Interisland Shipping Association (PISA), and President of Jesse graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in Economics and earned a master's in business administration from the Harvard Business School in 2011.

Capt. Porto earned his Master's degree in Ship Management from Lyceum of the Philippines University (Batangas) in 2014. He has been recognized by Seaspan Shipmanagement Ltd. as the First Filipino being promoted as Master in 2014 and Best Master in 2017 and Master Mariner for Fairmont Shipping (HK) Ltd. in 2021. Capt. Porto also headed College of Maritime Education of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) as the University Dean from 2018 to 2021. With a decade of experience in ship management, Capt. Porto is also the current Founding Chairman of the Board of Harbor Christian Movement Credit Cooperatives.

RJ brings with him more than 22 years of experience in domestic and international container liner shipping which includes branch management, freight forwarding, customer service, reefer sales, container yard operations, equipment maintenance and repair, vessel operations, trucking, finance, and customer relationship management (CRM). RJ graduated with a degree in Management Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University. He completed a course in Perishables Transport at the University of California-Davis in 2001. He also took up some MBA units at the University of the Philippines' College of Business Administration from 2001 to 2002. He also successfully completed Carrier-Transicold's Technical Service Training in 2009. In 2010, RJ was a delegate of the Rotary Club's Group Study Exchange Program in British Columbia, Canada.
