The Shreveport-Bossier Military Affairs Council (MAC) was established in 1986 by the Shreveport and Bossier City Chambers of Commerce for the purpose of serving as the primary liaison between the civilian/business community and the commanders of Barksdale Air Force Base... Our mission is to support the people who serve our nation while stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base.
