The Surgery Center at Orthopedic Associates (SCOA) is a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical facility. SCOA opened in August of 2013 and is fully equipped with four operating rooms. By having an outpatient procedure, patients are released the same day, typically within a few hours, so that they can recover comfortably at home. Ambulatory surgical centers allow patients to avoid the confusion sometimes associated with hospitals.
